I think AEW has the problem that they don't really know how to book big guys. It's the same story for each of them, they kill a couple of jobbers, get a title shot, lose that title shot in a hard fought battle, and then drop down to the midcard. All in a matter of weeks. I'm still enjoying AEW more than anything WWE is putting out nowadays (I almost don't watch WWE at all except in the background sometimes) but that's one area they are lacking in. Tag division is great though. Did anybody watch Slammiversary? I didn't see it but I read the results. Glad to hear Heath Slater showed up there! Also Eric Young and EC3; some of the most underutilized guys WWE had. Too bad I don't get the channel Impact is on ![]() |

![]() Alot or returns and debuts and overall I liked Slammiversary, but I have questions on why they did this and that during the Show. The Motorcity Machine Guns returning to Impact is a great addition. I've always been a fan of both guys and when they got together it was a dream to watch those two work. I loved how they put over both guys especially Shelley someone who I feel doesn't get enough credit for his style and bringing it to a US audience. They worked well with the Rascalz after the feeling out process was through and the win was expected. The North vs MCMG will been a hell of a feud going forward and I expect it to go the MCMG way to feud with the Good Brothers later in the future.
Johnny Swinger stealing the Good Brothers Car and acting a fool is always a good watch. That old school handshake though had me dying he should of said park the Car for me Tux. Moose vs Dreamer thank goodness didn't go too long for my taste. A Brawl is what Dreamer needed to get the job done, but realistically this Match could of taken place during a Weekly Impact rather than the PPV. I did see the TNA World Title has been repainted anew and I'll have more thoughts on that later with the Main Event, but this was solid as Moose retains his TNA World Title he found on a Table. I really was pulling for that Knockouts Gauntlet to kill and it did the opposite for me. Come on Impact did we really need Bravo dressing up as Taya and then Rosemary? It took away any kind of momentum you wanted to have for the girls involved in my opinion. Kylie Rae win was expected to me and she'll do great with Deonna in the future, but damn I can't remember a thing if I try to think and not bring up Bravo's involvement sheesh. Just after Health Slater trespasses on Impact and says he's ready to make an impact okay. Come back to me when you remember what is going on during the Show and let I'll listen to you. I was really surprised Bey won the X-Division Title over Mack last night. Even more surprised Swinger didn't get involved as well as Swann, but hey congrats to Bey. Bey is something special and with the influx of new talent coming in he'll have plenty of options to feud with going forward. The Match itself was okay, I felt they left alot on the Table to use in an rematch, but still a quality Match between the two. I must say The North vs Shamrock/Callihan even with the ever so slow Shamrock was a good bout. Thank goodness for Sami being involved in this, but The North needed to square off with someone new and that is what we got. The MCMG got next coming this Week and I expect some shady ending, but still it will be The North's toughest challenge since LAX let's see how the Champs do vs TNA Legends. Grace vs Purrazzo probably had the best Match of this PPV if you break it down. It was the Power from Grace vs The Technical Wizard during this bout. Deonna working that Arm using her strengths is something I wanna see. Grace is always going to be there for a battle and she looked good in a losing effort vs Deonna. Deonna was jobbing to later she had no business losing to, but then vs now is night and day. She's finally found herself when it comes to her personality and I'm happy as hell for her she deserves it. The 5 Way that saw Swann and EY return I thought came off strong. Now personally Eddie Edwards is not winning the Impact World Title, but hey congrats to him. I thought once I saw who's in the fight that Ace Austin should of been the winner here. Now I'm only saying that because EC3 wasn't in the Match it would of been him for the win for me, but Austin to me was the smarter choice. Why not give your hottest talent the ball and see if runs with it. Edwards is a good guy and a good Wrestler, but he's holding that belt for EC3. At least with Austin you can have him go through all these guys in the Main Event and EC3 is the savior to win it, but at least by that time Ace's stock has risen. Edwards is going to feud with Moose who Moose had his best Matches with, then hopefully he loses to Ace, but where does that leave Edwards after that happens to him? If Edwards vs Austin happens again Alisha needs to do the job and join up with Ace. I mean kissing and all of that too go big or go home with it. I didn't really need the Good Brothers coming out to help Eddie, but hey that is just me. Another positive as well EY vs Swann happening so theirs that as well. So some good things and bad for me, but overall a good Main Event to watch. Three Title Changes and plenty of action people watch Impact more going forward. |

![]() I think Slammiversary was a good show, better than a lot of stuff WWE has been throwing out there. I agree with HoHo; I think Shelley is totally underrated and should be one of the biggest stars in the world. Glad to see him, along with all the guys I'm familiar with. And some of the ones I've never seen before (Like the North) were impressive too. I also saw the last couple of matches on Extreme Rules and it was the total opposite. It sucked. I had high hopes for that swamp match but it wasn't even a match. |

![]() I liked Impact, it was an easy watch. I noticed the production team seemed to be drunk or something, perhaps it's their gimmick. Also those yellow taped ropes make me think of NXT. Two man booth was good. I thought Josh would start to grate after a bit but didn't.
I did get the feeling they don't have that one big name star. Is it supposed to be Moose? Also Swann partially annoys me, I just dislike dancing on a wrestling show. His selling was good though. I actually noticed that throughout, selling seemed to be a bit more prevalent. I also think Grace and Purr had the best showing. Straight up realistic wrestling contest without any crap. I didn't mind the comedy bits at all, got to have some variety. |

![]() Eff it, posting here, because Fans thread takes ages to load lol.
Cole is freaking awful to listen to after a while of not hearing him. Why is the commentary so loud in the mix. They barely add anything anyway. That Rey match was a shambles. Why didn't they just make it an I Quit match? It was a bad comedy watching them try and take an eye out. Why did Hyundai and Coca-Cola sponsor that? No stooge like with Moolah Royale? Even the stooge isn't watching anymore. ![]() I liked the Dolph stip, made it slightly more exciting. The match was alright. Drew was getting away with a lot but I guess throwing people into glass is allowed for some reason. Swamp match, I partially liked it because I feel I kinda get what Wyatt is doing. It's some sort of Scarecrow rip off mixed with what he's into. It wasn't a match though and I still don't give a crap after it ended. The logic to the endings of the women's matches was out there. Can't they come up with better finishes, like a clean pin. |

![]() They are taking matches from the PPVs to be on TV so the TV does better numbers. It's the only reason why Styles in an IC title match has been on the SD go-home twice in a row now. It's why Orton-Show was last night, why the stupid bar fight is this Friday, why there's a rematch for Dolph and the non-finish leading to a rematch for Asuka-Sasha.
They're hot-shotting for TV ratings. Which are trying for new worst ever(no caveats) each week(last night's 3rd hour was the worst in demo ever). And with NBA, MLB and NHL all coming back soon; it's probably going to stay this way for a while. |

![]() The show is three hours and it's largely boring. Try sitting through a three hour movie you're not into, it's tough. No one sane wants to willfully plonk their arse in front of the TV and put themselves through something like that. You want to be entertained and that's the little trick they have up their sleeve. They clasp to that live factor of anything can happen and that's the bit of you that makes you turn it on but the curtain has been pulled on that fucker and people are realizing it ain't must see at all. Of course they think these so called PPV caliber matches are the key because they are grasping at straws but it's backwards booking. If they want to diminish PPVs even further then that's up to them. No one is going back to watch three hour raw shows though but PPVs they will.

![]() ![]() The Motorcity Machine Guns are Impact Tag Champs! ALERT THE MCMG ARE CHAMPIONS! I can't believe they did that Title change and I wonder how The North feels after being Champs for so long losing to the returning MCMG. I'm sure they'll happy to had been in the Ring with them, but I imagine they probably wanted to change the Champions at probably BFG coming up in a few Months. Still a good Match even though it's a tease for a return bout which will be better. Congrats to the Guns and here's to much more success. Some other positives I saw Champions wanting to defend their Championships consistently like Eddie Edwards. Trey Miguel gets the first opportunity and how can say it's a major positive to bring up Trey and see how he does in such a Main Event. It can only help his Career and help the Company going forward. Let's see EC3 made his goals know he wants to end Moose and I don't care what Moose thinks he will he do he's losing the TNA World Title and EC3 is going to unify both World Titles unless EC3 throws Moose's Title in the Trash Can first. EC3 right now is not about living up to the Carter name, rather saving Impact Wrestling. I guess also we won't have to wait too long to see Kylie Rae vs Deonna which I'm all for Daddy hope the Match rules when we get it. So many wtf moments too even with this positive Show from me like Rosemary making talent appear at Taya's place like what the Hell. She was looking too, but I found it funny Taya only asking what is gonna on after all the people appeared. Bey retained this Week he has plenty of guys to work with including the Guns his future is bright, Sami and Shamrock are still sorta on the same page, but what the fuck is going on with Rhino and Hernandez? Dude gets beat in mere seconds like that whole story needs to go. Lastly I thought we were getting a new Heath, I'm still seeing the goof ball stuff with him this Week of course no one knows your name. You're not signed with the Impact and isn't like your someone known in the industry. |
