In the past yes. That was and is somewhat true for the ladies that never wanted to do it so when you look at their career then towards the later part they end up doing things they intentionally avoided. Gianna never avoided IR & wasn't 'reduced' to it. She did it throughout her career, while she was at the top of her game and was always popular enough to refuse to do it and anal while still getting tons of work. I'm going to have to take your word on this one. I "discovered" Gianna only a couple of years ago, and at that time perhaps I had seen only a couple of her earlier works where she seemed young and fresh. Lately, it seems whenever I run across vids of her she seems a little more hardened than before, and she's always doing IR. I had just assumed her career had peaked and she was on the downhill slide. I honestly don't watch that much Western porn anyway, so I'm not acquainted with the larger body of work for the few stars with whom I'm familiar.

You don't have to take my word for it, her entire career is documented at iafd.com. I'd agree she was a little more 'hardened' in later year but who isn't but IR was never an issue for her when she was young and fresh, when her popularity peaked or just before retirement.

Officially she's not retired but she after a long hiatus announced at the beginning of 2011 that she wasn't working with any other companies and only doing stuff for her site. That site never seemed to take off and according to the chaps over at the Freeones bulletin board she hasn't done anything new in about 3 years.

It's kind of like the heavyweight boxers of old. "Yeah, I'm retired" until they find out they're damn near broke and then they come on out for "just one more bout". Usually by this time they're way over the hill and couldn't punch their way out of a wet paper sack.
