I managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat today when after a morning snooze I very nearly lost myself to laziness on this gorgeous Summer day when I rallied and exercised, went for a walk and completed my hygiene.

Today I am accomplished.

Called my credit card number to make a payment. A payment of $40.00 is due "today." Dang, caught that in the nick of time. Paid the entire balance. No debt.

Vacation preparation is in full swing. You won't see me from this coming Sunday to next Sunday.

Yesterday I exercised, went for a walk, read a book and completed my hygiene and today I spent the whole day in bed just resting and that's OK ...not all accomplishments are doing the most in the day sometimes it's just listening to what your body needs and today mine needed rest.

pepo finally got a driver license today! Beware pedestrians of New York City! pepo on the prowl.

Only problem (mostly caused by planetsuzy): when pepo drives in NYC, i want to stop & check off an imaginary box every time i see a traffic light, crosswalk, bus, motorcycle or bridge!

Was on the road 15 hours last week. I knew from the schedule there would be a five hour leg where I would be the sole passenger.

I took along all the shirts I've been buying at those thrift stores and tailored seven of them. With no distractions, planetsuzy for instance, and my phone only capable of talk, text and pictures, I was proud I had planned ahead to keep the to do list going even on vacation.

In a couple of hours, I'll be at the closest thrift store again, and I might have another on the list. You never know.
