That rumor has been around awhile. Personally for match quality I would rather it not happen and have Ronda against Charlotte Flair or someone of her caliber. Either way it's a losing situation for her opponent so maybe it is best Stephanie gets her comeuppance. I would rather see Triple H against Strowman, have him end Trips in-ring career.

I guess people were happy with the rumble, I personally would have enjoyed seeing Gargano winning the rumble - especially after watching TakeOver for him to come up short, if you haven't watched that match, it was amazing. That would have been huge, they could have spot Aichner a slot as well - he can just pull off one of his ridiculous moves and eliminate a couple.

There were so many opportunities for this Rumble, the mens rumble was very tame for huge pop entrants. Hurricane was a waste, he didnt even get an elimination. Rey was the only decent entrant out of the blue.

Overall, I expected to see a few NXT entrants - Roderick Strong could've easily slotted in - especially when his storyline at the moment is just as a fill-in. Expected to see a few more of the MYC enter the womens rumble - instead it was mainly a throwback which yeah great I can understand. Still wasted opportunities for new storylines and to get SOMETHING even subtle going between newcomers & main roster talent.

Asuka didn't really need to win the Rumble as she would already get a WM match, same with Nakamura. Great winners, don't get me wrong - but it doesn't really mean anything for Wrestlemania. They should have had one winner change the whole storyline/plan for Wrestlemania.

Braun/Elias was amusing but once I got past the OMG value it didn't really suit him. Braun singing, come on... it's that Elf parody video all over again.

I imagine with the double pin finish at the end of Raw we'll get a match between them next week but why? They can make history, we all know they love that shit, and have a 7 man Chamber match. If they do go ahead with the singles match I would like to see Neville make a return and fuck over Finn out of jealousy. For me Neville is better than Finn imo, apart from looks, obviously. Finn is in his spot because Vince loves Irish guys and he is chummy with HHH. Neville was greatly under utilized, he was doing a f'n great job and Mr Enzo has been released. He's bigger than Finn ffs so he got plenty of heel angst material to throw at him that would make it seem legit. I think they could have a great feud.

Let me get this straight. Strowman eliminates the other five competitors, kicks out of all of their finishers, but it’s the worst Spear in WWE that does him in? Why the fuck am I not surprised? Of course, the guy that organically got over had to lose to the one that couldn’t.
