The King and Queen of Strong Style won their respective Royal Rumbles. It was a good day.

Well that Heath Slater/Sheamus thing was a total set up; you can totally see Sheamus backing and grabbing the ropes to roll with the clothesline. Also, overall I give the PPV a solid B but fucking hell I'm hating the Braun teasing.

It was the highlight for me too

That Rumble PPV was really something. I loved it! Both Rumble matches were a lot of fun and far exceeded expectations. I can't remember a men's rumble that good since maybe 2010 or before. It was perfectly paced and everybody had a chance to shine. I would have preferred Finn win it but at least it wasn't Roman, Cena or Orton. The women's one was very good as well. It's too bad they had to stack it with so many girls coming back that can't really wrestle well, but I'm very glad the Bella Twins didn't win it. |

Well they had to stack it with something, they don't have enough women wrestlers on payroll and honestly they had maybe five or six chicks from the late 90's - early 00's who could wrestle so they needed to pad it out with some of the chicks from the whole Diva era and not many of them could wrestle wrestle.

I guess I'm a little confused about everyone calling it a debut for Rhonda Rousey.... I mean, She was in the ring at wrestlemania 31...and she did more that night then she did last night... I mean; a debut can't be just skipping to the wring and pointing and smiling and shaking hands and skipping away,,,,

It seems like Rousey will be in the WWE for the foreseeable future and this isn't for one match and she's gone.
So I could see that has a contract like Lesnar that she will be on the big ppv shows, and if Lesnar can be a part time champ so why can't Rousey. To bad Rowdy Piper has died, imagine what a manager piper would have been for rousey with all the backstory rousey has for piper. But she named another wrestler she looked up to as a kid and that was hogan but that there is a reason why wouldn't work with all the scandals and he would easily draw to atention to himself. But she needs someone to cut a promo for her, like heyman does for lesnar and she could stand looking intimidating like lesnar does.

Bring on Vicki Gurrerro. She is good on the mic and needs a job. That is if they intend to bring her in as a heel.

it was kinda sad watching vicky yesterday, she tried to get heat and got none. She hasn't lost a step when it comes to the mic but the rumble crowd had forgotten vicky.
Ric Flair would be a perfect choice for rousey but they whon't split father daughter again, and I think they need a manager like heyman or a retired wrestler that can't take bumps. One that comes to mind is bishoff but I think they view him as to old, but he can sure cut a promo and it's nearest when it comes to heyman |
