So, here we are. WWE is going to have the first ever Women's Royal Rumble. That begs the question. Will a woman actually fucking win it this time or is it gonna be a horribly booked affair like the first ever Women's Money in the Bank?
Stephanie brought out the whole women's roster and made a big deal out of how it was her idea (oh, there's a fucking surprise. Arrogant cunt), and then all of them worshipped her and hugged and cried together. That includes Absolution and Asuka, all hugging and crying alongside the usual faces. Look at NXT's roster. Imagine if Nikki Cross, the Iconic Duo, Ember Moon and more all just broke character, hugged and cried with each other, and generally broke kayfabe AS THE BUILD TO A FIRST TIME EVENT. When Bayley and Sasha did the Iron Women match and it main evented, it was to make a big deal out of how it was a blood feud's ending. Whenever they do something new these days on the main roster, they don't give a fuck about building it like a match. They build it as #HISTORIC. The women stop giving a fuck about building it as a match, but rather a #HISTORIC event that they're so happy that Miss Stephanie came up with JUST for them. It ruins everything the storylines have built up and all the feuds, rivalries, etc. Remember Sasha and Charlotte being positively giddy about getting a Hell in a Cell match? Being in a Hell in a Cell should strike fear into people. Of course, ever since it became an annual PPV, it has become "Barney's Playtime" instead of "the Devil's Playground". It should have been about survival. It's idiotic to no-sell a match type even if that match type has been horribly abused. And one more thing, Alexa was part of the group that #CELEBRATED the Rumble being made. She's the fucking Raw Women's Champion. What the fuck is that?! That would be like Bret Hart celebrating when he found out that the 1993 Rumble winner would get a shot at his title. If anything, Alexa should have said something like "All of you can scramble and claw your way to win the Women's Royal Rumble, but at WrestleMania when you choose to face me because I'm the only Women's Champion that matters, the only thing that will happen to you is painful defeat because try as you might, you'll never be better than me." I shouldn't have been surprised about this, because logic and coherence goes out the window when the Billion Dollar beanheaded cuntress is involved.

In spite of the fact that that they have some amazing talent in the Raw women's division and that they have the belt on the proper person, because let's be frank Alexa is an amazing heel and a decent wrestler, the only good thing that can be said about the Raw's women division lately is at least they aren't playing hot potato with the belt at the moment!

Are they going over the top rope? Remember those battle royales where they would get thrown outside anyhow and it would count... The two matches will get compared so the women can't come off as pansies. Might get some injuries if they are going over the top though. They have to get some steam to be able to get thrown over properly. Those sissy light dropouts look like shit.

The deal with Stephanie is it's all corporate image. Look at how great we are, we have gender equality and we'll make sure you all know about it. Just so happens she is incredibly uncool. Storylines don't matter anymore, just look at Fashion Files, went f'n nowhere. That Raw show was absolutely atrocious, long drawn out matches, wrestlers competing twice, Shield and Bar for the 5000th time and boring story progression. The only entertaining bit was the reveal of a goldfish and Drew Gulak's expression after getting interrupted. The subtlety and absurd, not lame, comedy are becoming the most entertaining parts. Now and again we get a better than average match or promo to add the filling to the cake. |

I enjoyed Tribute to the Troops but can't help but feel its mostly done so WWE can tout how great they are (publicity) and its not about the servicemen any more. They don't even go to the mideast any more.

Hopefully over the next couple of weeks, because the Rumble isn't until the 28th of January, we'll learn more about this Women's Royal Rumble because I can see serious flaws in it if things aren't really worked out.
1. The champs participation. Usually the Champions don't participate but with the few women they have on both rosters and the fact they have two shows the champs either need to participate, and if one women's they auto challenge the other, or they need to beef up the Women's Rumble with girls from NXT otherwise it won't be that big or that long. 2. Nia Jax. Something need to happen with her. They either need to find someway that she can't enter or that she's handicapped because unless all the gals gang up on her I'm not sure how they're going to eliminate her. I know these chicks are strong, no matter what they are professional athletes, but Nia is billed as being 6'0 and 272 lbs ( actually weighing 240 ) and while that may or may not be true I don't see many of the gals lifting her out. So unless she eliminates herself thru shenanigans ... Those are the two main ones and I'm sure their are many more, like the over the ropes vs thru the ropes thing, those just really stick out to men. Also, is anyone else pissed off that these chicks are in Total Divas and the wrestling shows acting completely different on each? I know kayfabe is pretty much dead and shit but when you've got Alexa being nice on Total Divas and a cunt on Raw .. |

Stephanie has a fixation and is living vicariously through Charlotte so she is already my pick to win. They love making her old man even more of a blubbering fool. Flair win, cash in by Carmella on the exhausted champ, and I guess technically she'll have two re-matches lol. They'll fill it up with some from NXT or debuts from that Classic they did. I'm sure some geek has already quadruple checked there will be enough.
Off topic slightly but Roman now definitely looks an absolute shoe-in for the Men's rumble victory with Braun in the title match. I know he could still be in but it always seems unlikely for them to win if they've had a match already. I'm sure Kane is there just to take the pin from Brock and we get our Mania main event nobody really wants. |

The Rumble is in Philly, there's no possible way they can be dumb enough to have Roman win it there AGAIN. Have Nak win the Rumble, we get Styles-Nak at Mania and they can anoint Roman at Fastlane/EC.

I think you underestimate WWE's stupidity there. This is the same company that had Batista win in 2014 even though it was Daniel Bryan's year and then pulled the same shit with Roman Reigns in 2015.
