Frankly it's a match to draw the casual audience for the usual miss of Survivor Series which has been mostly crud since 1999. They are after those who will sign up for Goldberg and then hopefully stick around to watch some nostalgia which they'll get bored of in a few weeks. Goldberg kept the usual Raw rating drop in the third hour high so he has some worth for casuals. He ain't putting anybody new over but as far as I can recall neither has Rock, Austin or HBK to name a few. Undertaker had his chance to put Bray over and didn't. He's suffering in a shitty feud with Orton trying to get him over but it's not the same.

Remember they did the Rock-Cena tag team a few years ago to get the SS bump. This is the same. Owens, Rollins, Ambrose, Zayn, etc aren't going to bring in casuals or keep them afloat. Sooner or later though the nostalgia call ups will run out.

^ Rock put over tons of people, including new guys. He put over Lesnar SS '02 for instance, which was Brock's first big PPV. |

Yea, '02 was ages ago tho. I meant this new crop of talent haven't beaten anyone note worthy from back in the day as far as I can remember.

Smackdown Live was awful. Worst show they have done yet. Ellsworth won by DQ just as I predicted so they have got a running joke on AJ. Obvious they are all laughing it up backstage, pathetic. |

How desperate are WWE trying to get Nikki Bella over as a babyface? They really tried to make Carmella look like a playground bully on Smackdown.
Nikki Bella doesn't work as a sympathetic babyface, 98% of her fans are women and the other 2% are men who want to fuck her, she hasn't got the charisma to connect with the majority of the audience, sound familiar? Nikki comes off more like the playground bully to me, as Carmella's clearly the underdog. I worry more about Alexa Bliss. She has a lot of potential and eventually she's going to get fed to Nikki Bella and then devalued (buried). Saying this as a fan of the Princess of Staten Island, Carmella's fucked. It's hard to invest in her when you know what's coming, really hard.

So much filler on Raw. They might as well cancel it. They are doing a terrible job getting anyone interested in their midcard/lowercard. Women getting boring and this is stupid chants, more pointless tag matches, and more retarded storylines. #CancelRAW

Think about it they used time, on the go-home show for a PPV, to build a stupid, useless match for the next PPV. There, I said it, Lesnar-Goldberg is stupid and useless and it's going to the last match on the card anyways. Granted since they're turning Survivor Series into a sort of hybrid with the old Bragging Rights idea it's not as bad and at least Lesnar isn't stalling momentum for a full-timer for once.

Just can't wait to suffer through three HIAC matches in three hours. This isn't even funny anymore, it's sad. Rumor is they are trying to coax back HBK as another nostalgia band aid for Rumble.

The story going around is that Vince was furious over the Lesnar segment from last night. Apparently, he didn't like that Lesnar was getting cheered in his hometown and didn't like that the fans broke out into "Goldberg sucks" chants.
It was fucking stupid to try to get people to cheer for Goldberg in Lesnar's turf. That's like trying to get the Toronto crowd to cheer John Cena against Edge. Not gonna fucking work.

Of course control freak Vince was angry. He wanted the crowd to do one thing and they did the opposite. They can say whatever they want and the location didn't help. You could tell Heyman was trying his best to play off of it and then Vince probably told them to hit the music and you could tell Heyman was pissed.

What the blue hell is Goldberg going to do next week... address the boos? Play old school WCW video games with Woods? Comedy? Commentary? Fancy dress? Win food fight round two? Shill for Susan Komen? What a waste. |

If it's on the internet it must be true. If it's from Dave Meltzer it's the word of GOD.
Vince is a freemason. |
