Nice to see that young up-and-comer Kane get a win over the near-retiring Wyatt. Wait a minute...

Seeing quite a bit of chatter that Orton has concussion symptoms, which wasn't immediately disclosed to WWE and that he wasn't doing well enough on their tests to clear him thus the injury angle last night. Although he was able to do an RKO... Obviously this stems from Summerslam and considering the hole Orton had in his head(Nash tweeted a pic, it's nasty) I'm not surprised if he was concussed also that night.
Otherwise a really good PPV, no results that I didn't think possible. I had been torn on who wins the WWE title match but that was the singles match I was most worried about(especially after having every other match right). Both new champions make sense, they had put too much into this Heath story to not pay it off and he even got the pin to boot. On the women's side the only story they had really built was Nikki/Carmella, but that's a good starter feud for both and frees up the belt for that rare second ongoing storyline in the womens division. Miz had to win for me after that damn good promo a few weeks back and while the 'wife mist' keeps him in the very crooked heel category, it's a role Miz can do quite well. Great match, dirty win for the heel repeats in the main event thus leading to a title change. Dean got a decent run and defended it on PPV twice so he doesn't look like a pure transitional champion. If AJ opens the show he's going to be insufferable, but I suppose that's the point. |

My head has been in a spin the past few days, I forgot to participate in the tip. I tried to watch the show and apparently it was decent but I zoned out. I found it difficult for some reason. Having to watch and care about two different WWE shows that are essentially the same is a lot and the looming Clash show is not an exciting prospect. One big combined show a month is more manageable and keeps the fodder bs to a minimum because lets be honest it all sucks. There is at least one wrestling show on everyday of the week plus all the web content. I don't even watch all of it and I feel exhausted.

If one year ago, you told me that a year from now that:
- WWE would bring back the brand split. - Finn Balor would be the first holder of Raw's Championship. - Kevin Owens would be Raw's next Champion. - AJ Styles would be SmackDown's Champion. - Shinsuke Nakamura would be NXT Champion. - Becky Lynch would be the first SmackDown Women's Champion. - The Legendary Heath Slater would be one half of the first SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Then, I would have told you that you're fucking nuts.

what do you peeps think about the new cruiser weight title belt? Different for sure but different good or different bad? I think it looks like something you could buy from a dollar store. Cheap purple colored plastic belt. To each their own I suppose. Who knows...some of you may even like it.

I like what the cruiserweight belt represents. As for when I first saw it, I wasn't all praise, but at least it looks different. I wouldn't mind a bit of gold in it though, looks as plain as those crappy tag belts.

As for Paige, Berty probably told her it's better to stay clear of a dispute and keep the money rolling in until she can get out. Actually she can go to Smackdown now where she might be better utilised. |

Don't you forget.. Hornswoggle was the last cruiserweight champion before they retired the title. I'm sure WWE will never ever mention that on RAW.
