The snake story was a load of Bullshit concocted by Billy's friend to take the heat off himself due to the fact that Billy OD'd on drugs in his house.
They admitted the Snake story was false a few hours later.
It's really too bad because Billy "Rattlesnake" Glide had a nice ring to it!
