Currently playing NHL24. I already played a full season with the “semi pro” settings and dominated the regular season and playoffs. I’ve started a new season under the “pro” settings. I’m still winning games, but just not as easy as before.

The last hockey game I played was NHL '16. For some reason I'm no longer enjoying these sports games like when I was a kid. Maybe it was more fun playing them with friends. I'm currently playing the PSX game Metal Gear Solid that is part of the recently released Master Collection Vol 1. and which I haven't played in almost 25 years. Needs no introduction to anyone who has been into gaming for a while. It may look dated but it beats modern games in every other aspect. The techno-thriller story is amazing and there's so much you can do as a player. The characters and voice-acting are superb and legendary and so is Hideo Kojima's trademark humour. I sure die a lot because I'm out of practice with these classic games that are way harder in "normal mode" than modern games. But the game is so much fun, it's impossible to give up.

So there aint too many games im interested in this year but Eudican and ff7 but there is a rumor about the Borderlands live action movie being delayed release to coincide with the release of Borderlands 4 around August...should be announced @ PAX East 2024 next month

It's a simple card game, but it's so addictive

Still playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey. I had heard this was a massive game, but wow! I got about 180 hrs playing time but at least I finally finished the main story. Now I'm working on the two dlc. Speaking of the main story, I have to say I was disappointed with the ending. All that time spent playing and that's it? It just ends? No big battle or boss fight? Still an amazing game, though.

Meanwhile, I took a break from that and downloaded the Castlevania Advance Collection onto my Switch and have been playing Circle of the Moon. What a great game. Been having a blast playing this one.

Looking forward to GTA6 myself, but with the "heart" of the majority of the storytelling in the GTA franchise-Dan Houser leaving in 2020, we'll see how GTA6 does. Sam Houser is President of the company, so we'll see what we get. Just hoping for good product, and not overhyped garbage riding on the previous titles' fame

Most of the previous entries were quality satire of contemporary society and culture, so GTA 6 might be just a good spoof of woke. I'm not into the Bonnie & Clyde lead characters but that's pretty much a matter of personal preference. I'm more the GTA IV type of player. During the last decade or so, we've seen a major increae of girls among the gaming population, so I respect the introduction of a female lead character in a game that has always been meant for a male audience.
