I had a bad feeling he was going to announce that. What a load of shite. There better be a better reason than Vince and the doc Vince controls said he can't. What about Ziggler? Didn't he have a bunch of concussions?

It is suspicious because the truth is being blurred, should be either he can go or he can't, but you can't make this a work. It's an aggravating shitty surprise, if it is, to get everybody flustered. I think it's their way of wanting us to shut up, so get him out there, get it over with and sayonara basically. Probably still sour that he got over when they didn't want him too. They know they can't push Roman to the moon with him around so they have their blurred excuse to get rid of him. Ziggler, nobody gives a fuck anymore, so clear him. |

Not only Ziggler, but they cleared Tommy Dreamer, who has memory and concussion issues. He worked a tables match one night and then an Extreme Rules match the next night.

Good point.

Judging by the speech, which I hadn't watched when I last posted, he obviously has come to terms with it, so have to move on. I was under the impression before hand that it was forced but appears a joint decision? Austins run, Rocks run, they didn't really last that long either. I've taken some solace from that. With Bryan gone the closest who can come to his success is Sami Zayn. Let the Ole movement begin! Thank fuck the Matadors aren't around anymore. |

I was never a fan of him, but I must admitt that I felt sad when he announced his retirement, he seems like a really nice guy and the connection he had with the fans was something that not even Cena had and he is just 34 , really sad story indeed

In the end, I'd rather a retired Bryan than a dead one.

I'm trying to find the full ESPN interview, I've seen multiple vids they have on web but I'm wondering if there's pieces missing. The seizures thing was very scary sounding, it takes me from thinking maybe he could be back in 2 years like HBK, change his style to avoid head shots and the like, to he's done. And he did sound like he's accepted it both on RAW and ESPN.
The Dudley heel turn was a nice unexpected thing, not sure if that means New Day will be eventually turning as well yet. |

50-50 booking playa. Can't wait for Dolph and Kevin next week on Raw
This isn't the ESPN thing but it's Bryan in some commercial. Bit shit tbh, not as good as Khali smashing through concrete. |

Hi guys. My thoughts on the Daniel Bryan thing are all over the place. At first I got angry because they weren't just granting him his release to wrestle elsewhere. The man wants to wrestle, he was cleared by several different doctors, and because WWE's own personal doctor wouldn't clear him they were keeping him locked into his contract. You could say it was because they were worried about his health but of course, to Vince everything is about money. And it's Bryan's life, let him make his own decisions.
Then I started to think it might all be a work. All of a sudden, after fighting this thing for so long, he decided to just give up and retire? It didn't make sense. I saw a Mark Henry type swerve coming, or Bryan to end the speech with "but I will never retire!" to swarms of cheers. I'm still not totally convinced he'll NEVER come back. But I do now believe he's sincerely retiring, for a number of reasons. If that new test is accurate and his brain is messed up worse than he thought it was, he has to stop wrestling for his own health's sake. He has a wife and they want kids, and it won't be good if he turns himself into a vegetable. Even if it means giving up the job he loves. Its a sad situation. But at the same time, the man became rich and famous doing what he loved for a living for 15 years. We should all be so lucky. What do you guys think about this? Apparently Titus O'Neil was suspended by WWE for grabbing Vince's arm at the end of Raw. Seems like an overreaction to a minor discretion to me. Here's the clip: |

Overreaction I guess but what was he doing that for? Come off like an attention seeker, look at me, you walked straight past me. Proves you can't step out of line even a tad at that place if you're a nobody. It's only Titus though, I could use a break from his snore fest matches every week.
