I think that is fairly harsh on Rock. He cheered me up as I was struggling to recover from watching a bunch of nothing matches and pondering why I watch this, apart from Styles and Jericho which I wish went an hour. Maybe you've out grown his humor but to me was still the best thing on the show. Flo Rida was a different story, that was f'n awful.

I find it weird that they said impress us tonight and then at the end they pick a triple threat with the two guys they can't stand, and a guy that wasn't even there, for the contender match.

I was laughing during the segment with Rock, partly because New Day Rocks, but in hindsight I wonder why he had to interact with Lana like he did. Could have cut out the hotel room part and been fine. They gave him like 25 min, viewers were up but that could be from the title change too. The triple threat makes no sense. I'm calling it now that the Wyatts will come out and fuck with Brock to setup their match at Mania, maybe even having Brock eat the pin.

I don't watch NXT, but the match card for their pre-mania show is 'out there' and I think it'll blow whatever they have at mania out of the water. Brooklyn had 1 match that looked interesting to me, this will have 3.

With the whole rock thing he came in to feud with nobody and just add starpower and help rise ratings because they where in his backyard where he was doing tv show.

It's not like he's going to be in the usos corner or have anything to do with the new day at mania.

I could see the rock being in reigns corner and mr mcmahon being in hhh corner at mania and somehow the rock cost hhh the match and maybe we will get the roch vs hhh match at summerslam or next years mania which have been talked about for some time.

But it's very hard to cut a promo when it's not leading to anything, so in the end rock shouldn't even have been at raw and he wouldn't if raw had been anywhere else then in miami.

Apparently she has backstage heat so they are doing whatever to belittle her. It was just comedy though so I didn't read much into it.

Hard to say as the Mania card doesn't exist yet but currently guessing it is looking like it might be a bit weak. I don't care much for Reigns v HHH, they can't get the guy over and we all know he'll win. As for Brock against Bray, or forbid, Braun... I couldn't care for. Best match will probably include Styles. Doesn't help that the only over guys are from the attitude era, early 2000s or have indy rep.

Saying that, same kinda goes for anybody in NXT, only over because they came in with rep for good matches. I guess the women are the exception there though. I would say Crews is the exception. He somehow made himself suck.

Maybe I read too much in the Rock/Lana thing, I saw the heat thing but this seems like a dumb way to deal with it to me. He essentially slut-shames the woman on the same show they hype an anti-bullying campaign, bad time for mixed messages in my book. At least it wasn't a Rock Concert...

Bret Hart has just, within the last 30 minutes, announced that he has Prostate Cancer. Here is the post from his official Facebook:

It is with great remorse that I feel compelled to speak truthfully to my friends, family and my millions of fans around the world. In the past few years, I've spent more than enough time paying the price for all those years trying to be the best there ever was as a professional wrestler. I executed excellently and my proudest claim was that I never seriously hurt or injured another wrestler in my 23 year career. I've paid a price for all that "fake" wrestling. Aside from a devastating career-ending concussion and numerous surgeries when I was younger, in recent years I've had two knee replacements, two hernia operations, surgery on my right elbow, and, just a few months ago, I underwent a four-corner fusion of my right wrist that even now makes it most difficult to write or type.

Mark Helprin wrote: "We are all perfect clocks that Divinity has set to ticking when, even before birth, the heart explodes into a lifelong dance." I've had a great lifelong dance and I'm a survivor of many hard battles. I now face my toughest battle. With hesitation and fear, I openly declare myself in my fight against prostate cancer. In the next few days, I will undergo surgery with the hope of defeating this nemesis once and for all.

My fans have always looked upon me as a hero and I've always done my best to live up to that in and out of the ring. I beat the odds when I suffered my stroke in 2002, but it is now yet again, that I draw upon the many adults and young children I've met throughout my life who courageously fought and usually lost in their battles against this deadly disease. One year ago, I watched a brave young man named Whesley fight brain cancer to the end. If I can find even an ounce of his courage to stand unafraid and face the tough road ahead of me, I will march toward this destiny with his spirit chanting in my ear.

I make a solemn vow to all of those that once believed in me, the dead and the living, that I will wage my fearsome fight against cancer with one shield and one sword carrying my determination and my fury for life, emboldened by all the love that's kept me going this long already. It goes to show how truly awful Flo Rida is as a rapper. "Bo Rida" was trying to be bad on purpose, and the whole segment was written so Flo would embarrass him, yet he STILL won the rap battle because Flo was just so terrible. And this is an award winning, professional rapper with #1 singles and everything. Perhaps it's just a reflection on how bad the taste of the public is.

I liked the Rock segment. The part with Lana was really funny. And he must have been on some kind of drugs; he was really out there. But he's still very charismatic, more so than pretty much anybody else on the roster nowadays.

I actually get to see the entire episode of Raw tonight! No work today for me so I'm home to watch it and I'm actually kind of excited. Hopefully it's a good one.
