I'm pretty sure it has to do with Vince's fetish for big muscle men. He's not going to give a real chance to a 5'10", 190 pound Canadian guy with a gimmick that I'm sure he sees as "gay." It's really sad, Breeze got one meaningful victory on the main roster, no chance to let the fans get to know him, and they've already given up on the guy. |

Called it as soon as Roman was defending in the RR match. Knew he would be coming in at number 1. He's the PG era Austin, without the profanity or beer.

Also for the love of god someone please tell Steph and Vince we don't want to see them out there every week. The heel authority figure should be used rarely. Funny how only 1 of the 3 best mic workers in the company (Jericho, Heyman, Wyatt) are regular workers. |

R-Truth, who turned 44 on Tuesday, had a birthday party thrown for him during the Smackdown tapings. Roman Reigns joked that even though Truth looks 24, he's actually 50. When asked how old he is, he said "Whoomp! There it is." You can see the video below.
Wikipedia says R-Truth is 1406 years old. I believe it! Roman is defending the WWE championship after all, so in fairness he should enter #1 by default. That was my assumption at least. What would suck is if he comes in #27 or something and wins the rumble to retain the championship. Hope Roman doesn't get booed like last year but I think he won't win it this time around. Would be better if somebody like Brock or HHH wins then lose to Reigns at Wrestlemania.

Roman was getting booed spearing Brock. We'll have his company for roughly an hour during that match so he'll get booed at the beginning and then everybody will concentrate on the entrants with some booing in between then no doubt more loud booing at the end, unless HHH lobs him out and wins, which seems most likely then we're all suppose to feel bad but who really gives a shit, we all know he'll win it back. I am fairly optimistic Reigns won't win until they give him his Mania moment which he didn't get last year.

My reaction to Roman being the first entrant:

Who else do we think is a Hall of Fame inductee this year? I did think it would be Undertaker, but would Sting be the headline inductee? Divas wise, another forum thinks it will be Sable or Jacqueline. What about Beth Phoenix though? Trouble is, I can't really think of anyone else who should be in that HoF.

Gotta figure the Dudleys will be in eventually if not this year, I think there's rumors saying the Freebirds get in this year. I think Sting being announced first this year was an audible after the injury and having him and Taker as co-headliners is still possible.
Seems too soon for Beth, someday just not now. |

I'm surprised Sable isn't in the Hall of Fame already. I was never a fan of her (I always preferred Sunny), but she seems like just the type for WWE to represent as the diva of an era. I'll also always advocate for guys like Rick Martel and the Mountie to get in. Mid-card wrestlers perhaps, but they were great at what they did and I used to enjoy watching them.
Ok so did you guys hear about this? "WWE Tough Enough winner Josh Bredl, now known in NXT as Bronson Mathews, appears to be garnering heat with others in WWE as he posted the following Tweet during Raw last night and then later deleted it." He called the Social Outcasts "Social Jobbers," and the WWE locker room took great offense! Not only did all 4 of the Outcasts take shots at him, but Kevin Owens, Stardust and Bull Dempsey also ripped him apart on Twitter. I think it's very stupid for a rookie who only got where he is by winning a lame contest on TV to insult veterans who he will likely be working with in the future. But Josh always struck me as a dick even during Tough Enough. There's rumors he might get entered into the Royal Rumble and be given the Daniel Puder treatment, and I think he would deserve it! |
