Dolph deserves it, but I don't think he gets it. He had 2 runs with the second belt and got injured both times, not his fault but I think they still hold it against him. It'd be easier to see him and Cesaro, among others, getting a big title run if they still had that World HW title to have people fight over. One downside to them merging the belts.

Tyler has hit jobber status already, might be a new record. He needs to ditch Summer fast and squash some jobbers to start building back cred. You'd think Trips would have his back but doesn't look like it.

Summer I have no clue, a blonde Rosa Mendes with a bit more talent.

HBK even said that in the Austin podcast, he needs to be himself and not a wannabe clone. It's only escalated with the stomping before the attempted super kick spot. I get the feeling that Trips didn't even really have Tyler's back down in NXT. He was in that one main event 4-way for the belt and ever since then has been stuck in the mid-card. If they don't even see him as a main eventer down there, what does that say for his main roster aspirations? I agree though, he needs to build himself up by going on a winning streak. But they should also insert him into higher profile feuds. Maybe have him challenge (and eventually beat) Ambrose for the IC title.

I personally think Summer is head and shoulders above Rosa. Rosa is the worst wrestler by far on the roster (possibly even worse than Khali was when he was around). She can't act, can't speak, looks like she's made out of plastic, and I don't know why they keep her around.

As for Dolph, I do think he's trying to head away from the HBK comparisons somewhat with this 80's hair metal inspired gimmick. But furthermore, for whatever reason, I don't think those in charge like the guy, for whatever reason. I heard he's kind of a dick backstage so maybe that's it. But I don't see him as a top guy anytime soon.

I just knew the instant Neville won the Slammy that Owens would be out. Owens was the breakout star of the year by far and should have won the Slammy.

Not sure I like the Slammys being mixed into RAW. They are using the Slammys to make RAW matches.

If you think Neville winning breakout star of the year was bad, then what do you make of the Usos winning the tag team of the year award? Pathetic considering they were non existent for the better part of the year.

I get the feeling they have the fans vote but their votes mean nothing. The WWE has already decided whos gonna win and the fans that vote are just morons.

I wonder if smug Stephanie really thinks the fans really love her? I can't stand seeing her on TV.

As if its not bad enough that we all now know the Slammys are rigged and your voting means nothing half the guys that won didn't show up. Why rig the contest and have people that aren't there win?

There were so many bad choices for winners this year. How does Owens, who beat Cena in his main roster debut and won the IC title, lose to Neville, who hasn't really done anything of merit and is stuck in the lower mid-card?

Then the Usos, who haven't even been around for most of the year, lose to the New Day, who are multiple time tag champs and literally the most entertaining thing during that entire time period.

How about Nikki Bella, who has been extremely annoying and only the champ because of who she's fucking, winning diva of the year over people like Paige and Sasha Banks? That was pretty funny with Truth pulling a Steve Harvey, though.

The rest of the results were more subjective, but no less confusing. How in the hell does Taker/Lesnar win match of the year when it's pretty clear that ANY of the other nominees (except for maybe Sting/HHH) were better matches than that? And where the hell was Owens/Cena for feud of the year?

Also, why have Bo Dallas come out as a bad Santa and it leads to nowhere? I thought for sure Foley was going to appear and beat him up.

Supposedly, the Slammy result voting is legit, but that's clearly not the case!

Heath Slater actually broke the top 10 in votes for the 2015 WWE Superstar of the Year Slammy Award. This is why he's featured in this week's sitdown interview with Michael Cole, as seen above. Below are a few highlights from the throwaway interview:

* Cole says Heath Slater is in demand and his producers had to talk him into having Slater on the show. Slater wonders if he's being pranked. Slater placed #8 for Superstar of the Year and says he does matches here and there, he goes out and loves what he does, but says only the top dogs have been on Cole's show and now he's here.

* Cole brings up fan support for Slater on social media and says it started with the Slater Appreciation Day when fans tried to get Slater in John Cena's US Open Challenge. Slater says Cena must be scared of him. Slater says everyone else got put in front of him for a title shot. Slater says fans are asking for him every single week but he's not on RAW. Slater says he's challenged United States Champion Alberto Del Rio as well. Slater says the people want to see him.

* Cole asks Slater to sing a Christmas Carol and he does "Jingle Bells" because his daughter loves that song. There's not much to the interview as Cole walked on Slater, who said he has so much more to say.

Seriously Heath Slater could team up with Damien Sandow and they would become the most entertaining tag team in WWE history. 2 MB baybay!!!
