While channel surfing, I happened upon Fox / iHeart Media's "Living Room Concert for America".
After five minutes of this stuff, I definitely want out of the house... screaming! |

I'm a huge Tim McGraw fan myself and especially his uber hot wife Faith Hill. Elton John's "iHeart" was in the right place, it was just impromptu more than organized. (See what I did there? ) --------------- On a similar vain there is a famous Canadian band some may know called The Guess Who and Burton Cummings is self isolating and does streaming concerts from his basement and even takes requests but it's not for any cause that I know of other than to bring a little joy to his fans life in these scary times. |

Everyone has cancelled/delayed any tour dates. Yet, the Knotfest at sea, organized by Slipknot and other metal acts for August 10-14, has still not be cancelled.
I wonder, with this shitty virus creating a mess everywhere, who wants to board a ship and go around the Mediterranean sea to watch some Heavy Metal.

August is quite a way off, it would be a bit preemptive to cancel in my view. Notify ticket holders of the possibility of cancellation, certainly. Wait and see... cancel mid-June if things have not improved significantly. JM2C

Some say that we're gonna have to deal with this virus for a year, at least. Some are currently making experiments, and some just don't really know what other measures to take to fight this epidemic. It's a very unnerving situation. Last I heard, Italy wants to protract the lockdown till May. Their first 2 albums were great. After that, they pretty much went downhill.

But, regardless, my opinion on Slipknot, as a band, hasn't changed that much. On a side note, even some Limp Bizkit fans, many moons ago, really did a lot of crazy shit, specially at Woodstock '99 and Sydney's Big Day Out, where a girl was literally crushed to death, and that crazy dickhead Fred Durst decided to continue the show, despite of this, and even threatened security staff. They were kicked out and banned from Australia for many years, after this. Both bands are just only good at inciting riots and other crowd shit, thinking that they're Metal, and that's about it. To be honest, I had a much more pleasant time watching KoRn, Linkin Park, Nine Inch Nails and the Depeche Mode, live, than these 2 (not that I ever went to one of their shows. Just watched some of their concerts on MTV, back in the day, and they suck).

If you have a heart attack in a swimming pool and subsequently drown, does the death certificate say Cause of death drowning or heart attack?
