Morbid Angel - "Abominations Of Desolation" (Florida Death Metal)

This has an interesting story. This was supposed to be Morbid Angel's debut album. It was recorded in 1986, with David Vincent as the producer. Not the frontman/bassist he would become later on. On vocals, and on drums, is Mike Browning. No Pete Sandoval (drum God). It was never put out until bootlegs arose and officially not until 1991 when Earache distributed it. Lead guitarist and other musical mastermind, Trey Azagthoth, claims this album should be considered a demo. A lot of the songs here ended up getting re-worked in future Morbid Angel albums, such as "Chapel Of Ghouls" and "Unholy Blasphemies."

Considering the year it was made, when Seven Churches and Slayer's Haunting The Chapel EP hit the scene prior to this, this is way ahead of its time.
