Sneaker shopping. I like the Cortez model from Nike. I purchased my current pair for a decent price a couple years ago. I’m looking for a new pair and they’re almost 3x the price now.

Because the company I now work for has a contract with the state, we have a dress code that employees are expected to adhere to. We have to wear polo shirts tucked in, can’t wear hoodies while we’re out in the main area, we have to wear a company provided jacket instead, and our hats can’t have any visible logos.
I usually arrive to work with my hoodie on, wear it during the morning meeting, and take it off when it’s actually time to start work.
Every month everybody has a one on one meeting with the boss. It’s usually just to touch base, express any concerns, and see how things are going. Today he brought up the dress code. I thought it was because my shirt is occasionally untucked. It wasn’t though. He started talking about the no hoodie rule. He knows I don’t wear it out “on the floor”. It hangs in my locker all day. The only thing I can figure is he doesn’t like me keeping it on during the morning meeting while everybody else is in their company gear.

When you’re parked and waiting for someone to come out of the store and some jackass pulls in the spot infront of you, but doesn’t have the common sense to shut their visible from outer space headlights off.
