Funny story, Ric Flair wanted to be "Rambling" Rickie Rhodes in wrestling. I think Gagne was the one who talked him into using another name. Early Flair had a lot more in common with Dusty than his later self. Flair was around 300 lbs and had a lot of Dusty mannerisms.
I was a big fan of Dusty Rhodes, and sad that he's passed on. Quote:

I didn't start watching wrestling on a regular basis until the early/mid 90's, so Dusty's heyday was pretty much over by then. I wasn't that familiar with him as a wrestler until I went back and watched some of his old matches. However, I have a lot of memories of him announcing matches in WCW. I'll always remember him mentioning "the pay windah," which would give some meaning to otherwise meaningless matches. The simplest storytelling; the winner gets paid more, so each guy wants to win. If you wheel! R. I. P. Dusty.

I've heard two arguments for and against an Owens victory. If he keeps winning he'll end up like Rusev who is now a broke guy on crutches in a boring angle I wish would go away. If he loses then they eventually set up a US title match at Battleship or Summershit to have a final showdown and KO wins but after having first lost the NXT title to Finn Balor in Tokyo. But then what about the rematch clause?
Since when did matches become so difficult to predict? The only 'guarantee' on the show is Seth Rollins and then he'll probably get injured and R-Truth will come down and steal the title and go on a roller coaster tour of the US with his instagram updates. |

I generally have a bad feeling about Money in the Bank.
Dean Ambrose should be in the Money in the Bank ladder match as he would benefit the most from being Mr. Money in the Bank. Why would Roman Reigns, with his superman booking need the briefcase anyway? It doesn't make any sense to me. Not bad. Sheamus winning was a bit unexpected but it's a good start.

These cheap wins over Paige have gone on for far too long. It's not as bad as constant clean losses, but it can only go so long before people get tired of it.

I guess more facepalms are in order.
Dean Ambrose no selling an epic beatdown by Rollins was just wrong. So wrong. On the bright side, Dean Ambrose looked insanely strong in defeat and Rollins is still champion.

When he re-climbed the ladder at the end? At the end of the match I liked that he sold disappoint.. look on his face added to the story being told. Not to mention I don't see much of bright side to Rollins remaining champion with Nipple H clenching to him. |

No, it was before that.
Dean took a ladder to the face, 2 powerbombs to the barricade and was buried under a ladder and what looked like a dozen chairs. Ideally, Dean should have sold the beatdown by not getting up and Seth Rollins should have won clean. Sadly that did not happen and thus the end of the match was an epic fail.
