it is the the exact same thing if you have a 1080p Blu Ray rip and want to upscale it to 1440p to 4k it will does a decent jobs. If you have a 480p and want to upscale to any size bigger it would be a waste of time the final video will be garbage.

If it is garbage, I would gladly help you take out the trash.

In my own experience, VideoEnhancer has produced nice improvements in my original VOB DVD video files, mainly in the step from 480p to 960p. It is not as good as some of the Topaz models, but avoids the oversmoothing of faces that Topaz commonly generates.
