Well, that was among the finest 45 minutes of cable television I've ever had the good fortune to witness.

Definitely made up for the slower pace so far this year, and yeah - a bad day is a wee bit of an understatement.

The first scene with Walt and Skyler reminded me of the movie 'A Simple Plan' with Bill Paxton & Billy Bob Thornton. Bill Paxton and his wife (Bridget Fonda) are poor but happy in the beginning and then when he commits a crime it goes downhill....

"Sorry for your loss". Todd, you're all heart. When he said he could take Jesse back, I knew he wanted help cooking. Oh shit, the picture of Brock on the wall. Maybe Todd has been playing them all and he is not that dumb!

Oh shit and now Walt blows it all when he calls Skyler. At least he gave Holly back. ACK, I can't take this, I didn't Walt to lose his family. (***edited to add*** thanks to the posters here I now know Walt was purposely giving Skyler a get out of jail free card because he knew the cops were listening to that phone call)

WOW does this show move, more happened in this episode than a whole season of any other show.
