Why do I like Metal? Much like Jazz, Metal expresses Class A Musicianship, Diversity, Dynamics, Emotion, Experimentation and Progression! I started out listening to Classic Hard Rock/Heavy Metal in 1988, at the age of 9 when I got my first cheap Electric Guitar, then started listening to Thrash Metal around 1991, followed by some Death Metal a year later...and then, eventually by 1996, Progressive Rock/Progressive Metal! My Favorite Sub-Genre is Progressive!...Bands like, Artension, Atheist, Control Denied, Cynic, Damn The Machine, Death, Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Labyrinth, Lethal, Lemer Voice, Magellan, Mayadome, Pain of Salvation, Psychotic Waltz, Queensryche, Rush, Royal Hunt, Savatage, Shadow Gallery, Spiral Architect, Symphony X, Watchtower, Without Warning and Zero Hour It's just some of the most Artistic Music in the world besides Classical and Jazz! Hard to describe in english but i can assure you that i didn't change my opinion for my 30th birthday 'cause Metal is for youngs, and once grown up you listen something else. Metal is forever ! |
