- WWE Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan announced on tonight's RAW from Cincinnati that he is relinquishing the title.

Bryan said he had a MRI last week and doctors do not know how long he will be out - it could be weeks, months or Bryan may never wrestle again.

Bryan noted that he has spent the past few weeks in and out of doctors offices and requested to come out on RAW to vacate the title.

- WWE has announced a second pay-per-view for the month of May and it will be a WWE Network exclusive event.

The event will see the return of the Elimination Chamber on Sunday, May 31st from Corpus Christi, Texas. This was previously a live event.

Seth Rollins will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns & a 12-time former titleholder Randy Orton in a Fatal 4-Way Match; If Seth Rollins fails to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Kane will be fired from being Director of Operations

The New Day will defend their WWE Tag Team Championship against the previous titleholders, Cesaro/Tyson Kidd in a 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match

Dolph Ziggler goes 1-on-1 with Sheamus

King Barrett goes 1-on-1 with Neville

The following match will take place on the Payback Kickoff:
The Ascension (Konnor/Viktor) takes on The Meta Powers (Curtis Axel/Macho Mandow)

* The Prime Time Players defeated Los Matadores in a quick match. PTP came out dressed as bullfighters

* Erick Rowan and Luke Harper defeated Zack Ryder and Jimmy Uso when Rowan hit Ryder with a sitdown powerbomb

* Stardust vs. Dolph Ziggler is next. Ziggler gets the win with a Zig Zag. This was said to be a very good match

* A Bray Wyatt video opens the show.

* Dean Ambrose kicks off SmackDown to a big pop and comes out for an in-ring promo. Ambrose talks about RAW and Payback but is interrupted by Roman Reigns. Kane is out next and he gets upset when they talk trash to him. Kane puts Ambrose in a match right now.

* Sheamus vs. Ambrose is first. Ambrose gets the win after a big uppercut in the corner and a quick pin out of nowhere. This was said to be a hard-hitting back and forth match.

* Backstage segment with Kane and Seth Rollins. Kane announces Ryback vs. Rollins for tonight.

* Lana and Rusev come out for a promo in the ring. Lana was way over but nothing significant happened. Lana apologized for her recent actions with taking in the fan support and dong the Fandango dance.

* Ryback cuts a promo.

* Rollins vs. Ryback is next. Rollins cuts a promo and out comes Ryback but Bray Wyatt ambushes him on the entrance way and beats him down.

* They stall some and Rollins thinks he has the match won by forfeit but it's going to happen despite Ryback's condition. Rollins gets the win.

* Promo from Naomi and Tamina Snuka.

* WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day are out next. They cut promos and out next comes Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. Kidd defeated Kofi Kingston with a Sharpshooter.

* They advertise an update on Daniel Bryan's health after a commercial but out comes Bo Dallas to cut a promo on Bryan. Neville interrupts to a big pop and we've got a match with King Barrett on commentary. Neville wins with Red Arrow and Barrett cuts a promo on him after the match.

* Backstage segment with Adam Rose and the Rosebuds.

* Kane vs. Roman Reigns is next and there must be a winner by pinfall or submission. They start using weapons early on. Reigns fights back and gets the win by pinfall. He stands tall and celebrates to end SmackDown.

Raw was bad. I have forgotten nearly everything that happened because it was so shit.

I can't think of much to mention other than poor Bryan who might not wrestle again... again. I think he'll come back but one more time and he is done so maybe with that logic he shouldn't come back at all.

Mandow is horrible. That leg drop was even more horrible. Even listening to JBL burying them on commentary isn't enough to make this watchable. It's not elevating anybody, it's goofy comedy shit that wears thin quickly.

Divas are still shit compared to the women on NXT and at least on NXT I don't have to mute their theme songs. The twat who made the recent Diva themes probably doesn't listen to them every week. I have more faith in Slater producing better music.

What are PTP trying to accomplish? Darren Young can try all he likes, he isn't entertaining, the fact he looks like black Cena bugs me and not forgetting to mention... he has no charisma whatsoever.

Too many distraction / inteference finishes. It's boring and makes everything feel meaningless.

I watched Impact in the first time in ages and it had a bucket load of promo segments that went on forever but I think it was still more entertaining than this show.

I pretty much agree with you on everything here... It's sad that they won't just let Sandow be himself. If you're not going to let him be the Intellectual Savior of the Masses again, at least let him have the potential to be a regular wrestler who is taken seriously. He's taken a step backwards with these impressions and his Macho Man one isn't even very good. At least it gives Curtis Axel and the Ascension something to do.

I haven't seen a Prime Time Players match in months. I don't know what they're doing with these dumb promos besides trying to get people to buy their shirts. Is everybody imitating everybody nowadays?

I think Bryan should just retire. He doesn't want to risk permanent paralysis. It's sad but he did reach the pinnacle of his profession so it's not like he didn't make it.

A lot of current themes are horrible but yeah the divas seem to get the worst of the bunch. Naomi's is just grating beyond belief. "Ama may yay yay yay zing. Ama ama ama may yay yay yay zing!" What genius wrote those profound words?

One more thing, I think you should give Cena a lot of credit for doing what he's been doing. He's willingly taken a huge step down out of the world title picture, and yes he is giving the US title more prestige than it's had in years. Not only by holding it, but by making every guy who faces him look like a million bucks. Seems to me like some people just hate Cena no matter what he does.
