Well, after getting "No Free Slots" all day yesterday on K2S, today I'd downloading at a whopping 2 Kbps. TWO.

OK, it's up to 4kbps.

So many links here unmirrored on this host, too. It's strange that Fileboom doesn't seem to have this issue, being the same company.

Edit: Nevermind. Fileboom is now giving me the same crap sub-8kbps speeds too. 400MB file, 11 hours. They might be under a DDoS attack, I suppose.

All who have problem with speed:
1. be sure that you come from planetsuzy.org (you should get ~150 kbs) not use Incognito mode in browser., don't use jdownloader and other similar services (which hide referral url).
2. if problem still appear write to help.k2s.cc with full details. We try to help you.

I have a Premium account and use PureVPN which allows me to select a server in various countries. Download speeds don't vary much for me. I occasionally change countries.

2 days ago K2s blocked my account, claiming I have been hacked because I recently logged in from another country. Their logs match the countries I log in from.

I have repeatedly told them how I change servers and they still have not unblocked my account. Could this be a warning sign they are failing? Beware!

PS I don't have this problem with Filejoker.

Until 3 or 4 days ago I never had a problem with K2S but now I can only get 30kb/sec download speed. I'm only clicking links posted here at PlanetSuzy and downloading via my browser (Firefox). I'm in the UK, don't use a download manager such as JDownloader and don't use an adblocker.

Fileboom is working fine, giving the usual 150kb/sec, and so are all the other main filehosts used here - Depositfiles, Filefactory, Filejoker and Rapidgator.

I just tried a download using Chrome browser and same problem

edit: back to the usual 150kb/sec now

You're getting 30k? Lucky you. For me the page SAYS I should get 150k, but I'm getting 10k. When I don't get "no free slots" errors. Fboom is slow too, but doesn't have the no free slots errors. The "No free slots" errors have been going on for weeks, but there are certain hours I've been able to get connections. Slow ones, but they've completed.

Frankly I think they're simply overloaded. I look here and on many other forums and K2S links are omnipresent and the only ones existent. They don't have the bandwidth to support the load and are prioritizing premium users (as they should) but they've reached the point where they're overutilized.

I've always had very slow speeds but have not been able to download a single thing in a long time.
