I believe that the "Junior Member" user group's signature privileges are turned off.
It is not possible to turn it back on for one or more individuals in a usergroup, only the whole usergroup.

that wasn't the case the other day. maybe it was in the process of being deleted but still had an avatar .. but indeed it didn't work. I sort of understand why some want to cancel their account but the stuff they did stays unless they specifically want their actual thread removed. I did just that but more or less a long story. Knowing this I'd just leave. mailbox might get full but it happens. probably leave some note about it in my sig to slow that down but other than that it makes things harder for others when you leave. Maybe an option this account has been close instead of deleted. or transferred to an admin that takes control of old accounts deletes the contacts inside and keeps the messages deleted yada yada. yada

not sure if the software allows that though..

butch94, FWIW, I tried Gwynd's suggested (on this page) pingdom test, and got results almost identical to those on his screen shot, so no go there. A regular connection speed test from my cable internet provider tells me I've got 100Mbs, so I know it's not a generalized problem (no problem at other sites).

As to the Thanks button you mentioned, it took me four refreshes to record mine on your post.

Gwynd, my results were almost identical to those on your screenshot. On the assumption that PS is working fine for you, 'fraid I'm still stuck. Thanks for helping.
