It was renewed for a 4th season on May 14th. I will admit that I kept watching when i met my girl Sarah Shahi who played Jessica Russo, an FBI hostage negotiator and Nolan love interest on the show. We talked about her starring in our film currently shooting in Scotland but after trying, Netflix wouldn't give us a contract exemption because she is commited to shooting her new show Sex/Life where she plays Billie Connelly, season one just wrapped. I have an ace up my sleeve though, Netflix is interested in our CGI editing technology, the whole reason ILM bought us last year. I think that timeline ship has sailed, we are commited to the script schedule. I would sooner commit to Amazon Prime than Netflix though, I know the CEO of AWS. So, Sex/Life and Person Of Interest both with Sarah are on my watch list. Plus i want to rewatch her show Reverie which I loved even though it was yanked after 1 season. I would love to buy the rights and revamp it but its an even bigger commitment that films so that would mean hiring more tv production talent if we could shoot here in Edmonton or Calgary. Btw Sex/Life is also shot in Canada. Canadian law dictates foreign companies must use a percentage of Canadians in any production. Plus there is that juicy 25 percent Federal tax credit towards labor costs on a maximum of 60 percent of overall labor cost (or 16 percent of budget) plus the Alberta Incentive Fund. Back to The Rookie for a minute. During season 1 Afton Williamson, who portrays Talia Bishop, leveled sexual misconduct and discrimination charges at producers but a third party investigation concluded her accusations had no merit... it wouldn't be the first time someone cried wolf but I know better than to think inappropriate behavior doesn't happen on set, it is actually not uncommon and is NEVER okay period. |

![]() This is more a "production boner" than anything else. I love those live cut-ins that NBC is famous for, where a voice comes on during the closing credits of one show to segway directly into the next. "Stay tuned for an all new episode of The Blacklist which starts right now."
Canada is so important to American tv production that we are I believe the only country in the world that is authorized to air American network "first-run" content here even before it airs in the US. In other cases they air simultaneously in both countries with a 3 to 7 second delay in the US. Those are east coast feeds here in Alberta because of the 2 hour time difference. We run our own commercial content though during the American shows. We are also the only country that picks up US network signals unscrambled. --------------- I really want to see the new show Why Women Kill that aired on CBS All Access, season 2 premiered on June 3rd on Paramount and on W Network. It stars 2 women I adore, AllisonTolman from Emergence and Lana Parilla from Once Upon a Time. I got to go on set of the latter during filming in Vancouver and Lana was an absolute sweetheart and is so gorgeous it hurts lol. Ginnifer Goodwin also from Once Upon A Time also stars on this show. They use single camera setup with 3 cinematographers and 5 editors. "A darkly comedic drama detailing the lives of three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the 60s, a socialite in the 80s, and a lawyer in 2019, each dealing with infidelity in their marriages." |

took me a while to figure out why our sitcoms were up on TPB like 10 mins before they were even over! i initially thought it had something to do with DVRs squeezing the ads out (so an 8-830 show would be ready by 822, say); but it turns out it was just ppl in PEI and NS posting them like 50 mins after they aired. so 920ish, their time. occasionally an industrious poster will beat our network to the punch. up by 859 their time, say, or 1 minute BEFORE IT EVEN STARTS HERE. ![]() |

![]() TIME This is a truly excellent 3 part BBC prison drama written by Jimmy McGovern and starring Sean Bean and Stephen Graham, both of whom put in stellar performances. I have watched the first two episodes back to back, and will watch the last one tomorrow. In a review in The Guardian, Lucy Mangan wrote: "The performances of Bean and Graham are, even though we have come to expect brilliance from them both, astonishing. So, too, are those from everyone in smaller roles, none of which is underwritten or sketchy, and who thicken the drama into something more profoundly moving and enraging at every turn."Source: Code:

![]() Nope, I'm right. You just like to argue and cry because Canada rocks lol. The only problem with the USA is its full of Americans.

![]() I caught a couple episodes of Judging Amy recently and liked it.
"The series is based on the real-life experiences of Amy Brenneman's mother Frederica, a judge of the Connecticut State Superior Court." Amy is adorable and sort of reminds me of another hotty Carla Gugino. Mmmm lol |

![]() Mental Samurai
Last edited by JustKelli; 11th June 2021 at 06:31.
Rob Lowe hosts this mental obstacle course that sees contestants battling the boundaries of their minds to answer questions accurately with speed and precision. Not only does the course test their acumen in categories of knowledge, memory, puzzles and sequencing, but players must also contend with being physically transported around the set at high speeds in a specially designed capsule capable of rotating 360 degrees. People from all walks of life compete -- underdogs triumph -- in the game that anyone can play, but almost no one can win. Covid-19 delayed season 2 a year but its back --------------- This might just be me but although really well made, I would have a really hard time recommending the show A Million Little Things to anyone in case they were suicidal. That is the most depressing show I've ever seen |
