I don't think Bray will end up that low, unless he and his family keeps being feeded to Cena or Reigns. If that happens he'll be hanging with Zack Ryder or worst, he'll become a Rosebud.
Apparently that beatdown was only Vince's fault, he change the script at the last moment. Damn you Vince.

It did feel like the final episode though. So much for that series. Legends' House was shit as well. Think I made it through about 6 shows before I gave up. The podcasts are better. Good shit recently with Foley and Batista. Heyman was kinda boring if you've seen the doc. Jesse Ventura taking the 'We the people' gimmick for his podcast name. I don't know if he did it intentionally or not. Says he doesn't watch anymore so idk. He's suppose to be a man of truth so I'll assume he doesn't know and it's a big coincidence unless he didn't name it. |

The thought of Bray Wyatt and Damien Sandow selling Big Issue does amuse me. I don't know if he is a lost cause. It's the promos more than anything for me, I guess I allowed him to talk shit because he was backing it up at the start. When Chris Jericho came back, you listened to their promos and it was like a pro and an amateur.
The symptoms could be fatal. Many have these symptoms, some find the cure and recover, others don't have that luck. Will Bray find the cure? or will he be stuck in the phantom zone for life? Find out. Yeah, I'll do Alan 101 here and say the babyface turn is just around the corner. He and his family will be electrifying babyface's and reach heights that I didn't think were possibly, Bray will give a promo that registers. OH MY GOD. If you're going to be optimistic, at least do it with conviction. |

That is Russo for you, in the episode and I forgot straight away. I'm not sure if that was the final episode. Are they going to miss out on a chance to have a dig at Jeff Jarrett again? Have somebody saying in the background, and this is when WCW reached rock bottom. Jeff Jarrett holding up the world championship. |

I listened to a podcast where a former writer was talking about Jarrett getting his haircut at WWE Summerslam 98, I think. Anyway one of them said it made him look like a 55 year old woman lol. I couldn't stop chuckling for a good while. It was a good podcast, I'll put the link. I ruined that jk but it's still fun.
Podcast Link Random thought; why did they change Bret Hart's theme to sound worse? And oh yea you can add Drew McIntyre - "WWE Superstar" to the feck up list. |

I really don't get the hype between this Monday Night Wars. I was 8 years when I started to watch wrestling and at the time I believe the WCW was great (97-98), I didn't know the existence of WWF until I saw the Undertaker and the Ministery of Darkness and I was intrigued. For reasons I find out later WCW stop airing and I became more fan of the Attitude Era, The Rock, Kane, Hardys, etc were my idols. What I ask is for those who really lived those "wars" is if the competition was as brutal as they said? Which of the promotions you watch at the time? and finally what were the breaking point that made WWE the winner of the war? I hear a lot about that it was when Mankind won his first title, but what do you think? Is that or another moment that comes to your minds?
PS I didn't know what to talk, but this topic comes to mind after seeing the MNW. I was really looking for an excuse to show my new header supporting my favorite wrestler lol.

The breaking point for me was when Hogan pinned Nash with the finger poke of doom, that was one of the only times I got really pissed off. That was when I gave up on WCW. WCW had lost stream since Starrcade 1997 anyway, that was the big payoff and they had nothing planned afterwards because they kept going back to nwo. It was sad in the end for them.

''This is what world championship wrestling is all about'' You said it, Tony I watched WCW and WWF at the time, but I was a WWF supporter. That was that I grew up with. Was it brutal, well I think so, because they were going head to head in a way that there could only be one winner, if you win that battle then you are kings of wrestling. Who knows what would have happened, but WCW were clueless. Too much money being spent and keep pushing the same guys. Hogan was like how Cena is now, I guess, only worse. It was not one particular moment, they ended up giving the world title to David Arquette, and even worse, Jeff Jarrett, but I had already stopped watching by then. Looking at that nitro video posed, Bret has this look on his face it says ''what have I gotten myself into''? It was really entertaining competition for a good while before WCW went down the toilet. WWE finally upping their game and trying something new, so in the end I'm glad WCW pushed them so hard. They couldn't keep up in the end WWE stood tall. Yay. Nice title, I like your sig as well. |

Arquette had the WCW Title?? WTF? I know he had a movie about wrestling, but giving him the belt is a bit too much. Well I thank the WCW for pushing WWE to make better their product, but one of the question without answer will always be why the main stars didn't appear in the Invasion storyline, but that's part of the past. Maybe one day they make a special program in the network about that.
The sig I stole from Wawrinka, he had a tatoo from Samuel Beckett in his arm and had that quote and I always like it. Convince the mods from giving me the header was hard, I'm bad with humor.

I think that comes down to money. At the time, a lot of the top WCW guys had big contracts and they could collect the money without working. ''Marks'' like DDP accepted the deal, came in and got crushed by Undertaker. And that's a good thing. I remember the make me famous thing he was doing and I'm like, wow, I was really looking forward to this. How to kill excitement WWE style. Arquette was champion. |
