I'm assuming now that the Gen Me/Ink Inc match was for a different Impact taping because Shannon Moore was Hardy's mystery opponent. |

We can now confirm our earlier report on WWE Diva Tiffany's arrest and subsequent suspension from World Wrestling Entertainment, following an incident with her real-life husband, WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre.
The incident included a loud argument between Tiffany and McIntyre after returning from a party in Los Angeles last Saturday. In their L.A. hotel (not San Jose hotel as our initial report stated) their argument got heated enough that hotel security and police were called to the scene. In addition to her WWE suspension, which at this point would seem to suggest her participation on Sunday's SummerSlam show is no more, the regular Smackdown performer was also arrested and taken into custody last Saturday night. WWE was not aware of the incident and arrest until Monday. Tiffany has since been suspended by the company, most likely until she is cleared of the charges, which her lawyers believe is going to happen.

The WWE had a chance to give us something new and refreshing but they gave us the same old stuff. Allow me if you may to ask a few rhetorical questions.
Did John Cena really need to “overcome the odds” again tonight? NO! Did the Intercontinental Championship match need to be stopped by an attack from The Nexus? NO! Did Kane have to be The Undertaker’s attacker? NO! Did two title matches at the WWE’s second biggest PPV need to end in DQ? NO! Did The Miz need to cut a promo in the ring on joining Team WWE only at the last minute to be replaced? NO! Did Daniel Bryan need to be the 7th man? Ok, I will give you that one! This PPV was as bland as a 5 minute Great Khali match from start to finish and I pray to the Gods that Night of Champions is better than Summerslam was, it cannot be any worse. |

I agree with the IC/WWE title matches. The Kane/Taker attack will set up another feud. The Miz promo was actually pretty quality which was used to introduce Bryan to Team WWE. Cena is the face of the WWE and was the the one the Nexus looked to get rid of. So it's only fitting for him to be the one to beat the Nexus. Personally, I would have loved to see Bryan do it and shut Cole up once and for all. |
