Good show overall, the six men tag team match was irrelevant, but the rest was good (the Bellas still suck, but are improoving). |

Just finished watching Raw myself and yes, Ambrose and Rollins best match of the show (even with the silly, fake cinderblocks). But have to be honest here...no one is taking belt from Lesnar anytime soon. Hate to say it, guys, part timer or not, he's it. And really, please...Roman Reigns defeating Lesnar in a believable match??? Sorry, don't think so. If HHH is relying on Reign's 4 moves to beat Lesnar, he's dreaming. Even though we all know each match is pre-determined and a winner is written ahead of time, it's still not believable a seasoned UFC/MMA WWE champ like Lesnar is gonna lose to Reigns predictable 4 moves. I'm not buying it. Even if they start selling the match between them for WM 31, it's still not believable. Reigns has yet to prove himself and has a long way to go. Plus, to say he's the next face of the company over Cena...nope! I like Reigns, but his act is wearing off, and pretty quickly.
Now in my humble opinion, I think a better match, if he's healthy and ready...Daniel Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar at WM 31. Oh I know what you guys are saying...WTF??? But think about it...Bryan comes back, challenges Lesnar and they write it as a David vs. Goliath storyline with Bryan winning on the anniversary when he beat Orton at WM 30. Plus, Bryan is a lot more technical of a wrestler than Reigns. Even though Lesnar outweighs Bryan by almost 100 lbs and is a shitload bigger, we've seen Bryan go against the Big Show and Kane and win, so to me it's a lot more believable than Reigns with his 4 moves. I'd much rather see that at WM 31 and it would be a much better match. |

Brock Lesnar is the ultimate champion. I love the way he has been positioned and I couldn't give two *bleeps* if he isn't on house shows defending the title or if he is only on TV once in a blue moon, like he has been. Adds to the special factor. I like it.

I also like the sound of Brock vs D Bry. If I was booking, Roman Reigns wouldn't be near the Wrestlemania main event until Wrestlemania 32/33, but yeah, those days are long gone. We're in the rushing out era, the never ending era of under seasoned biscuits that are not crunchy enough. Who is to say that Cena wont be the challenger at NOC? Maybe better saving this rematch, but it's not like any of us can think of another credible challenger. Guess we might find out in a week. I would have said it is possible that he wont even defend the belt, but it is Night of Champions. I have to think of this situation as not black and white, so maybe we don't get a title match. I think we will. Four moves or not, I don't see anything other than Reigns in the main event of wm31, not unless he fails a drug test or some shit like that. I must have been the only one that enjoyed the curb stomp on the 'concrete' Quote:
Do I care for them as WWE performers? Quote:
It's not often that a loser gets much out of defeat, but these losses for Ambrose haven't hurt him. Of course, he has to win some time, but when he does, and I believe it will be next time, I'll let out a loud YO for him. I'm really liking the cut of his jib. I underestimated him. They must have a hell in a cell match. If only the Fabulous One's were around today to put the Usos in their place. |

Howdy folks. I always feel awkward because Raw has aired but I jotted down some notes and such which I never do ever so this might go well or might be a wreck.
I missed the pre-show but saw Ptenisnet rage over DVD so I'm pretty sure he won. So much for putting talent over Bob. Remember when they actually used to acknowledge what happened on the pre-show? yea me neither Here comes Bogan. Go away, you just had your birthday, stop plugging shit you hobo. No one cares. Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler I didn't give this match my full attention but I caught the important bit, the finish, and it was basically a burial. Miz hits his finish, Dolph kicks out, then Dolph hits his finish pretty much straight after and wins. WTF? I guess they were playing up Miz was in shock but it failed and looked like a burial. Vince must be trolling. Miz was a definite shoe in and he swerves it. Probably good odds on Ziggs. AJ vs. Paige Not sure if the trolling continues here. I thought it did during the show but now I look back it probably wasn't. Paige essentially proving she's a lesbo as far as I'm concerned is what I got from this. It was a good match. I didn't write down good spots so I'll have to do that next time. Glad Paige won to a degree. More trolling with Sting. Just f'n sign a contract already. When they came back from his 2k15 video I was literally freaked out by that mask. It looked weird. Rusev vs. Swagger I liked this match. Good selling, good story, just all round well done. Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins I was skeptical but again another solid match. Can't complain here. Bray Wyatt vs. Y2J Yea, the clock returns. WhaWullWhaWullWhaWullWhaWull BOOSH! that was the best thing about this lol. Better than Battleground but it was still crap. I honestly don't think these two guys can gel at all. Still botching when Y2J hit the codebreaker and Bray struggled to get his foot on or under the rope. Essentially he just got it nearish from what I could see. I have had enough of Wyatt now. I don't know why but somehow all attention has just been shifted to his entrance alone then when he talks or wrestles every one starts yawning. Brie vs. Stephanie Basically waiting for Bryan to show up. Oh he didn't, what a f'n goof. What was he doing? Fucking that broad I forgot the name of? Yea probably, there you go then, it's true. I wanted to enjoy this but it was OK. I heard rumors about the Nikki turn so when she showed up I was anticipating it. Brie vs. Nikki... what have we done to deserve that. This build up is gonna stink. Randy vs. Roman I had literally forgotten about this match . I knew there was another one before the main but I just couldn't remember what it was lol. Shows how much I like these two guys. Garcia announced Roman from Pepsi-Cola Florida. I swear she said that. Funny stuff. Ahhh, you know what I forgot what happened in this match apart from a bunch of headlocks and something to do with a table . It sucked. Jaw Cena vs. Brock Lesner Lesnar? FFS Josh, be clear. Fire this guy already. I don't know where to begin really. The match had no pace to it whatsoever unless do a move, stop, move, stop etc... counts. I think it's fair to say we were back to trolling. Brock was probably aiming for 9 hundred & 99 German suplex but realised he couldn't do that many. If he did he would of passed out then LOLCenaWins... Really WTF was this? I heard mild boring chants and I was thinking to a degree they were justified. A pretty good show to lead up to this? I guess they were going for shocking and to a degree maybe Cena got his comeuppance for all his burials through the years. This wasn't Undertaker shocking though so naturally going for shock wasn't really going to work that well compared against that. On the fence on this match, not sure what to think really. |

keep calm and love Jaw Cena vs Brock Lesner Lesnar. Everybody is free to have their own opinion, but boring chants for this. I don't know what to say other than I wasn't bored. Far from it. One of the best matches this year for me.

Aww man, I was kind of expecting you to be undecided. I'm starting to have strong erotic feelings for Dean Ambrose. I need help. Bray Wyatt has lost me. I'm not following any Buzzards now. He probably always was yadda yadda yadda, but it was fresh, now it is just pure unadulterated yadda yadda yadda. Let's see if he can win me back. |

I wanted to see a match. I'm accustomed to Cena giving some sort of 5 move offense and I at least wanted that. This isn't MMA and the crowd know it. Cena can't have an off day. The squash was entertaining to a degree for it simply being out of the blue, is this really happening? Did they purposefully have a squash so people want to see what happens at NOC when Cena miracously somehow isn't squashed? That's f'n fake to me. He's squashed then suddenly able to have a competitive match at NOC, how does that work without looking stupid. It ain't a movie. I cannot see them repeating this at NOC because then it'd be tedious and that ain't entertainment. I guess a stipulation could be thrown in there but goodness knows what that would be to make it more fair for Cena to get some offense.

You got a match.

It could be seen as Cena has to take a look at himself, they can play it up like he trains harder than ever before. They can come up with all sorts of scenarios, and in case you haven't noticed, wrestling is fake. I hate using that word, but there you go. You can make up some Guinness book of records shit for him, and then he gets beat again, but at least it is competitive. |

Cena can't be more in shape. It'll be a Cena love fest now, same old under dog rubbish, he'll be booed even more heavily if we're getting Rocky style workout vignettes. Are we expected to just suddenly get on this guys side cause it ain't gonna happen and he'll still lose anyway. Cena is better off retiring after this loss. It's been often noted lately that when Cena isn't on the show nobody seems to give a shit anyway.

''We make Movies''
Last edited by Alan Kellerman; 19th August 2014 at 14:43.
Can you tell me who said that quote? I'll tell you if you don't know. Vince McMahon said it. I don't believe Cena or the WWE give a damn about having fans on his side. Since when have they? It's not about getting on his side, it's about telling a story and there are better stories to tell now after this match. haha, Rocky vignettes. I can picture Cena running up mountains while no easy way out plays loud. If that don't get them on his side, nothing will. And remember. Clubber ''Credits'' Lang killed Rocky first time round in Rocky 3. Cena must show that he has the eye of the tiger. OK, I'll stop with the Rocky talk now edit ** I wasn't talking about actual movies. Vince was referring to his product when he was making these statements. |
