If think it was that the gains from the network were covering the losses from the PPV buys but not by a huge 'awesome' margin. With the PPV buys being skewed to international buys, which apparently make less, since some of the providers in the US have stopped offering the PPVs.

I give the guy credit. He's doing something else with his time and seems to be enjoying it. He could be like Hogan, Flair, or Sting who really have nothing else going for themselves so they hold onto wrestling for the rest of their lives.
