Apparently Rey Misterio is leaving the WWE and will join Del Rio in AAA

- Former*WWE*announcer Hugo Savinovich, who works for Mexico's AAA promotion now, did*an interview*with*kgb-wrestling.com*yesterday and said*Rey Mysterio*will be coming to AAA once he solves his current contract dispute with WWE. He also confirmed that*Alberto Del Rio*will be appearing at AAA's TripleMania event on Sunday.

I guess is because he was injured the better part of the last couple of years and doesn't make the same money than before. If this is true they will need a new latin wrestler to fill the spot for that market (especially Mexico) or giving a push to Sin Cara or Los Matadores. Btw I miss that guy Hugo Savinovich, he was like the "Jim Ross" of the spanish commentators, but I think he had some issues and that's why he was released a few years ago.

- There is currently no WWE SummerSlam post-show planned.

- The SummerSlam Kickoff will be 30 minutes and will feature Alex Riley, Hall Of Famer Booker T and Renee Young. WWE says a match will be announced for the pre-show but it wasn't announced at the tapings last night.

Maybe there are segments from that show somewhere in WWE network, in a compilation or something, but the full episode isn't there. Not unless it is hidden.

I only see three full episodes for 2001 right now

Good for Rey Mysterio. He can go somewhere and be a star again. Go out in a nice way, before he comes to be inducted in WWE hall of fame.

I wonder if the WWE is making more money or less money with the Network then the monthly PPV format?

Los Matadores would get over in Mexico like a fart in church. Sin Cara (Hunico) is not over enough. Kallisto is one of the wrestlers in Mexico expected to be called up next. He's the guy they'll push in Mexico. It helps that he was already over in AAA as Samuray and Octagon Jr before signing with WWE.

If think it was that the gains from the network were covering the losses from the PPV buys but not by a huge 'awesome' margin. With the PPV buys being skewed to international buys, which apparently make less, since some of the providers in the US have stopped offering the PPVs.

I give the guy credit. He's doing something else with his time and seems to be enjoying it. He could be like Hogan, Flair, or Sting who really have nothing else going for themselves so they hold onto wrestling for the rest of their lives.
