There's always someone either convulsing or barfing in ALMOST every damn episode. Guess the producers either have a puke fetish, or they just simply couldn't come up with something different.

But seeing people convulsing or barfing all the time is a surreal puke fest, rather than an actual medical show, to me.

You should give it a a second chance: it isn't all about patients vomiting, but instead features a man who possesses an incredible talent as a diagnostician.

Dr House is a cynic, a drug addict, has terrible bedside manners for a physician, and a virtual sociopath, yet when it all boils down we can see that he is also a good Human Being.

Also, Hugh Laurie is able to convincingly play an American.
