Lately, the file sizes displayed on the download page are inflated and inaccurate. It's not a big deal but it's odd.

Could be a bit vs byte issue. As in they suddenly started displaying the former.

Anyone got troubles with 1fichier ?

every time I try to get files:

You must enable Javascript and accept cookies.
You should disable plugins like Adblock that can break some parts of the website.

I tried with and without adblock, on several browsers, same thing.

I also can't upload there at the moment.

I have a registered (free) account on 1Fichier. I uploaded a file earlier today, and instead of putting it in my default folder, it created a new folder called 'in transit'. Ordinarily, no big deal, but it assigned an unknown and invisible ACL to that folder such that no one could download. Once I moved it into a different folder, the exact same link worked for everyone?

I realize the French are still smarting from Ireland winning the Guinness 6 Nations rugby championship on their home soil, but I have never seen this before. Anyone else having issues with 1Fichier creating random folders?

I have been uploading files to 1fichier lately trying to help pick up some requests in the Up/down host request thread. Due to upload speeds and on-call status from my employer- I would like to use their native FTP page but my VPN will not connect. My VPN client is a split tunnel but for whatever reason, even after authenticating to my 1fichier account, the FTP does not work.

Failing that- does anyone have a good, free FTP client they can recommend for FTP to 1fichier? I can setup a VM as a dedicated FTP server but before I do that I'd like to test it first. I should note that I have a free but registered 1fichier account.

Thanks for any assistance/suggestions/ideas.

I encountered some extreme slowness a day or two ago. I stopped the DL and tried again after waiting 60 or more mins. My second attempt was much better.

I checked download without SSL and unchecked Inline, and it refused to start downloading. Then it tells me I have to wait 30 minutes.

It seems trying to initially download the file through Jdownloader, was the issue.

they lowered the lifespan for files to 15 days for unregistered users and 30 days for registered users
