I’ve been PM’d a question, which I might as well answer in the public forum as some of you may have more/further knowledge to add:

Question was:

Mabaline,
Sarah did multiple scenes on a rug in front of a fireplace. Do you have any idea where this fireplace was? My guess is Palm Springs. I read once that she did a lot of scenes there and my reason for choosing this location is:
All of her co-stars in the fireplace location were American.
Adjacent clips showed American style cars and houses.
She got married near there in 91.
Circumstantial evidence perhaps, as opposed to your recognition of recognisable landmarks in her scenes.

With the scenes shot in America I can usually split them into two groups where I can say, “all this group were shot in this one location”, and “all those were shot in that one location”. What I can’t do is then join the two groups up and say, “everything was shot in this one location”.

Some years ago, when there were SY hardcore picture sets on the sy.com site, they were labeled with the location, the majority were labeled as Palm Springs, but a few did say San Benadino.

Also, a few years ago on another forum Tom Byron would answer questions, one of them was:

Been admiring your work for years. Recently caught an old scene with Sarah Young, very hot, any recollections? Always wondered where exactly those scenes were shot.

They were shot in San Bernardino. I think I only worked with Sarah one time. The guy who shot it, Roy Alexander, was notorious for shooting long scenes, a lotta footage. I remember not minding it much that day cuz she was really fun to fuck.

So, in my opinion, there may only have been one location, but HM was getting mixed up or, as Palm Springs and San Bernardino are only approximately 45 miles apart, it may have been just one location somewhere between them, or there may have been two separate locations, one in PS and one in SB.

Calore 02 – Sarah Young and Mike Forster, in Sarah’s second scene from Calore di Donna (1995).

This scene is intercut with another scene. I’ve removed about 25 intercuts and inserted dissolves between a few, but left others as-is – hence, where some intercuts have one or two frames missing you will see a slight jump in the flow of action, but nothing (I hope) bad enough to spoil the scene.

Source material is not that good, so there are some problems with picture quality.
