* SmackDown kicks off with a look at The Shield and The Wyatt Family from RAW.

* Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus for the WWE United States Title is up first. Sheamus gets the win clean with a Brogue Kick. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were not at ringside. This was a good match with the crowd behind Ambrose. Ambrose did a dive out of the ring at one point and barely made it in before the 10 count.

* Cesaro and Bad News Barrett vs. Rob Van Dam and Big E is next. Paul Heyman is on commentary. Barrett runs down climate change on way to the ring and says like Big E, when the storms hit, he will be forgotten. Crowd is behind RVD and there are some Barrett chants. Cesaro pins Big E after hitting his finisher. Before that, RVD accidentally kicked Big E in the head. The match lasted less than 5 minutes.

* We get a Daniel Bryan vs. Kane recap from Extreme Rules.

* Lana comes out and says America should change and follow Vladimir Putin. Rusev squashes Kofi Kingston. Kofi got in little offense. A loud USA chant broke out during the match.

* The Wyatt Family appears on the big screen. Bray Wyatt rambles about John Cena.

* A Bo Dallas vignette airs.

* Fandango and Layla defeated Santino Marella and Emma when Layla rolled up Emma.

* Roman Reigns vs. Mark Henry is next. Reigns lifted Henry over his shoulders to show his strength and then dropped him into a Samoan Drop. Reigns hit a spear for the win.

* Los Matadores come out with El Torito to a big pop. They're going to face Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Hornswoggle. Torito pins Slater for the clean win.

* Seth Rollins vs. Batista is next. Crowd chants "you can't wrestle" at Batista. Rollins tried a baseball slide, but Batista scouted it and got some offense in. Batista with a few more power moves including throwing Rollins into the steps and then back into the ring. Batista hits huge suplex and is being methodical. CM Punk chants start. Rollins turns the tables and gets going. Rollins runs into spinebuster. Rollins counters Batista Bomb and Batista rolls to the outside. Rollins launches over the top rope and lands it. The second time he comes from the top rope, Batista sees it coming and sidesteps it. Rollins hits the table. Batista rolls in ring, wins by count out.

* After the match, Batista hits a Batista Bomb on Rollins as fans boo. Rollins sells an injury.

* The Wyatt Family vs. The Usos and John Cena is next. The crowd was more pro-Cena than not. There was also a loud Usos chant. The match ends when a big brawl breaks out on the floor. One of the Usos gets hit with the lariat by Luke Harper for the clean win. Cena cuts a promo against The Wyatts after the match. He says Bray is afraid and didn't get the pinfall, he got his goons to get the win for him. SmackDown ends.

I read a lot of posts on here, and it seems like a few of you guys on here have sources in the business and get first hand news and scoops. Well, I have one question...where the hell is Sting already?? He was one of my favorites in WCW, after he put on the black and white and was all mysterious. That's what got me watching WCW. I loved that storyline. I read he did sign with WWE. Any news, guys?

I presume that Sting is in WWE. He recently was on the WWE Network discussing the late Hall Of Famer Ultimate Warrior's career in specials such as Ultimate Warrior's Greatest Matches & Warrior: The Ultimate Legend. There are rumors of a Sting DVD/Blu-Ray that could be released this fall (although it has yet to be confirmed in other countries). All signs are pointing that he's signed with the company.

I enjoyed the commentary during that IC match for once, not cause it was good. Even JBL mentioned the snooker winner. I doubt he watched a single frame of it though. Probably just got some world sport news app thing on his phone telling him everything like when Vince was in Jerry's ear telling him taxes, tolls and traffic.

Everyone is raving about Brie Bella's performance I knew this would f'n happen. He's got a wife now and she needs to be with him every time he's on screen. Ever since that Mania win it feels like Bryan has been stopped and become the 3rd main story to Evo-Shield and Bray-Cena. I hope they aren't just pushing him aside after his win readying for his burial. Much like when Punk dropped the belt to Rock. Just underwhelming and shit. It's like he put the hard work in to be champ but oh well that's done, universe got their moment to save Mania. Off to worse things like crappy Kane feuds with too much Bitchanie McMahon involvement and eventually lose the belt to Bootista who nobody wants as champ.

I thought it was quite clever. WWE should bring Garrett ( not the Bischoff kid) to WWE and more names get stolen. One week, its Kingston vs Swagger next week Ziggler vs Sandow. Michael Cole still has his first name ''WWE fans, we are trying to control it as best we can. If you have any idea who is stealing first names, please give us a call''

I missed Raw this week.

Then the actual PPV (or "special event") started. Cesaro/RVD/Swagger was a really good match that I enjoyed quite a bit. Although we in the crowd were confused as to if it was elimination or not, just like the announcers apparently were. When RVD pinned Swagger, I was really surprised because I thought Cesaro would win, but then the match kept going and we knew it was elimination, so then it made sense.

As soon as Lana walked it, it was like a mass exodus from the arena lol. People used this as their bathroom break/on line for food break. My friend left, along with half my section, but I stayed to watch. The Putin stuff was pretty stupid. Are fans that dumb to only hate a foreign heel if he's now presented as Russian? And the match was sort of bad as well. Truth did better than I thought he would, but Xavier was presented as extremely weak. One move on the outside and he's out for the entire match? Rusev is actually growing on me a bit though, he's really fast watching him in person, for a big giant like that.

Next was my favorite match, Bad News Barrett vs. Big E! I have been a big fan of Barrett for a long time, but somehow, every event I've ever gone to hasn't included him on the roster. So I finally got to see him live, and he won the belt to boot! I don't think the camera showed my sign; I was seated on the side of the arena opposite the hard cam. Still, I cheered for Barrett and tried to start chants. We all hated Big E! He got a lot of boos! I'm glad Barrett was the face. After the cameras went off, he blew a kiss to the audience in appreciation for the support.

Evolution vs. Shield was great. Although it was strange that a lot of people were cheering Evolution as a team, but then booing them once they were in the ring one on one. Do they just enjoy the concept of the guys as a group? I was cheering for Shield the whole way though. Exciting match throughout, and the part where Rollins jumped off the barricade was right near where I was sitting. I was like 5 rows above that. Although I couldn't get a good view of it because there were all these dorks in my way who had crowded around the barrier. Oh well. Another thing, my friend came back from the concession stand partway through this match, which gives you some idea of how long the lines were. He missed 2 and a half matches!

Cena/Wyatt was terrible! It made the whole Wyatt family look so weak it wasn't even funny. The match itself was slow and boring. Cena was doing unclear things that didn't read well in the arena. At one point it looked like he was struggling with Rowan to force him to suck his dick. How the hell is Cena stronger than Rowan and Harper together? There was a botch where Cena could have left the cage, but he didn't, and waited for Rowan to come over with a chair below him, and then Cena just climbed back in. Also, where was the continuity? One minute Bray is running to try and escape the cage, the next he's crab walking just for fun, the next he's dancing with Cena instead of trying to win. Also nobody knew what that singing kid bit was supposed to be. People were thinking it was Big Show, or somebody with Down Syndrome. The worst thing is how Cena thwarted the whole Wyatt Family at every turn. He kept beating them all up, no matter what they did, and convincingly. Fuck you Cena.

Then came Paige/Tamina, aka "Bathroom break number 2." Nobody was paying much attention to this or was interested in it. Below average match. The only cool thing was at the end, when the Wyatt noise happened, and we all thought the family was going to come out and attack Paige! Nope, just a backstage promo.

Finally, the Bryan/Kane match. It was kind of disappointing in a way, but also better than I expected. It started off slow, and just drained the life out of the arena once it went backstage because we couldn't see anything. When they came back out again, it was still dumb because after all that slow forklift driving, the big payoff was Kane slowly dropping himself, feet first, back into the ring. At least Bryan jumped on him afterwards, which was cool. From there, the match was better. It was a decent ending, but they really should have had that Shield match as the main event. Best match by far.

One more thing; my seats were right by where the 4 guys (Booker, Sheamus, Riley and Josh) do the pre and post show analysis. The most interesting thing was watching them as the matches went on. They wouldn't even turn their heads to look at the ring, except occasionally. Booker went backstage through most of the event, so he didn't even care about it. Sheamus just stared into space through the whole thing. Riley and Josh either wrote things down or texted on their phones. Is the event that boring to you guys that you'd rather do this stuff than watch wrestling?! And then they "analyze" it after. Easy to analyze something you didn't even see!

Overall, really good event, and one of the best ones I've ever gone to. Hope you guys enjoyed the review.

I also attended this show & I thought it was a great show myself! If you look really closely on the WWE Network, I was spotted during The Shield's entrance next to the #ExtremeRules graphic before their match vs. Evolution. The only match I missed was the Divas Championship Match, but that's what the Network is for right (Watching what you missed during the show?) BTW: if somebody take a picture of me from Extreme Rules, I would appreciate it.

Apparently there was a backstage fight at the TV tapings this week and Sheamus got his bollocks knocked in by Sin Cara/Hunico.
