I've complained about impossible to download files because they're posted in 3+ gig chunks, but when a 2.8 gig file is split into 4 with the final piece being 1.5 mb, that's also kind of irritating.

Looking for job. It's probably one of the most stressing frustrating experinces I went throught. But I couldn't exactly tell what pisses me off the most. Is it the lack of feedback you get? Or, even worst, the misguided feedback? The last time I contacted to a company via email, I was answered that they were interested on my profile and they would have some vacancies soon where I could fit it... They never got in touch with me again. If you're not interested on hiring me, that's fine, but don't lie generating false expectations. I have a profile in LinkedIn which gets a good number of visits every week, but nobody has writen me yet saying: "Oh, I think you'd be a good candidate for a post in our company, what about if we have an interview?"
That's another thing about looking for job which pisses me off. The interviews. They're a total waste of time. The funny fact is, since I've studied some HR management, I know it's probably one of the worst ways to evaluate a candidate. I find it really annoying explaining to a stranger my personal background and future planning for nothing. The worst part is when, after some talk, you realize you don't wanna work there and try to find a way to end the interview without being too obvious. That's what happened with my current job. During the interview I was thinking: "I don't wanna this post. Luckily, they're never call me back again". But those bastards did! And since I had no other job opportunities, I accepted the post. That's probably one of the biggest mistakes I've made in my life. |

I have a colleague who suffers the same situations. But he's a good worker, and one of the very few decent people who work for my company. He's always having a lot of work to do, staying at the office at very late hours... and he even receives complaints when he can't meet unrealistic deadlines! Whereas more unuseful ones are leaving work at 6 and never get in trouble with bosses... because my colleague has to do their task to avoid further problems! That's something I've always wondered. Do the bosses know how thing really work in their departments? Do they care for it, at least? |

TV commercials that try to be funny.
First, most "commercial" humor is stuff a second-grader would eye-roll. Everything is funny... buying cars online, life insurance, hamburgers... everything. Just... stop... Second, in some cases, like major purchase decisions, it's completely inappropriate. For some, buying a car, be it online or brick-and-motor locations, is a major purchase decision. Next to buying a house, it may be the most important purchase decision one can make in their lifetime, certainly based upon the monetary amount. Based upon that criteria, what is it about humor that businesses figure will drive traffic to websites or actual stores? Several months ago, a local funeral home aired a commercial utilizing humor. I got on social media and tore them a new one, and so did many others. The commercial conveniently disappeared. Lesson learned. |

Life insurance commercials.
I can't even remember which hand I used to jerk off with last night, but elderly folks can rattle off facts and figures about life insurance plans off the top of their heads? Seriously? It's not an impulse buy, like a pack of Juicy Fruit gum, and so, IMO, it should be approached that way... no humor (see my post above), no old folks lying on their death beds reciting the 9.99/mo mantra... just give me a serious commercial with features and benefits so I can decide, and I'm a happy fucking camper. Rant over. |

Little Caesar's commercials.
Notice a trend here, folks? Did someone lose a bet? Those are some of the worst commercials I've ever seen... and, having a Marketing degree, I've seen some bad commercials in my lifetime. It looks like they had an infant son of an executive take the lead in these think tanks, and come up with the concepts for the spots... Those commercials are almost as bad as their pizza. IMO, Papa John's is the worst (the box it comes in is tastier than the pizza), but Little Caesar's is the Billy Beer of pizzas... just God awful. Dishonorable mention: That fucking voice behind the Arby's ads... I want to shoot that fucking Moose. |

Another thing I really hate is starting a new thread searching for people to share interests with, and having no replies. That makes me think I'm an odd freak because of my porn tastes. How can be possible that nobody at all likes the same things I do? Should I undergo treatment for my deviant sex preferences? |
