Just thought wouldn't it be cool if Austin came out and stunned Hogan when he is presenting the Andre trophy and stun the guy who won, may as well just for being an annoying prick who is impossible to predict, unless your Dolphin man. Bust off Andre's head, pour beer in and drink. A more fitting tribute to Andre and that's the bottom line.

By the way all of JR's Wrasslemania story parts are up on f0xsp0rtsdotc0m. Decent read if your bored. Nothing ground breaking, a few exciting off the cuff bits that I forget after about 2 minutes.

Got my pc back. Yay. I haven't forgot about the Wrestlemania article. I will read that tomorrow. I put WWE on and they had a Wrestlemania preview type show with Alex Riley, Booker and Josh Matthews. I thought it was funny when Booker was interviewing Batista. I was just thinking about the fight ( ass whipping) they had in the past and pictured Booker laughing on the inside when Batista said he likes to hurt people.

Thoughts on NXT

1.) Renee Young and Wiliam Regal on commentary together, flirting abound. Sasha Banks and Emma wrestled. Fans chanted "Sasha's ratchet." Regal asked what that means, and compared the term to "old bags," which I'd rather go with. But Sasha's not ratchet, ugly, slutty, whatever. It was a pretty good match, Emma mostly taking over the match. Sasha had her time, causing that "Sasha's ratchet" chant, but it was mostly what Regal speculated on. How many times you can say Emma's name, because all her moves have her name a part of it. Dilemma, Emma Sandwich, Emma Lovk, Emmacation, Emmasturbation, Emmagasm, Emmatrocity, I'm mkaing up some of those, but you get the idea. She did her signature moves, caused Charlotte to fail at interfering, take a slightly bad bump off the apron, and made Sasha tap. They should get the Summer stick to wrestle, surely she will win more matches than Sasha. Speaking of her, let's call her the female Curtis Axel. Maybe Heath Slater since he's actually not won one match in 2014. For the comparisons, it's because Sasha's a good talent, shows it, but never wins! To a point where I forgot what Sasha's finishing move is, if she even has one. You can't see it when she's always losing. Ah well, at least she looks great in losing. In more ways than one.

2.) Bloodthirsty fans, that's what commentary called the people, they were loving them some Ascension squashing jobbers. Specifically Konnor body slamming one of them onto the ropes, taking some unpleasant landings as a result, much to the joy of the fans. That was about it, and they must be the most dominant tag team in recent WWE history. What other team makes it so that their opponents can't even tag out/in? Yeah these are jobber teams, but without the name value, they have to be one of the most dominant tag teams in the past 5+ years, if not the most. I'd like to see them try that in the main roster. Then crash with reality when they have competitive matches, which is something I want for them, because this isn't new for me. It's nice, but I want better.

3.) Xavier Woods vs. Brodus Clay. The curious case of Brodus Clay, he drops Tensai, it seemed like he could be a midcard solo heel in the main roster, but not only does that not happen, but he ends up jobbing in house shows, to Great Khali for example. Even jobbing in NXT dark matches! You just wouldn't know that if you didn't look him up on the internet, because all you'd know is the guy just vanished. It's a shame, and the guy didn't seem to slack off with no TV time. He looked to lose a bit of weight, and if you want a comparison, he's as close to Abyss size as possible. That's a compliment, it's further than the Tensai build, closer to the Abyss one. Brodus Clay dominated in the match, and got a "Better than Batista" chant when he did a powerbomb. Brodus basically squashed Xavier Woods, doing some nice power moves, throwing around Woods with suplexes and stuff. It was nice, and Clay talked after the match. He said WWE took his girls (Funkadactyls), his theme music, his tag partner (Tensai), and it sounded real. Clay lost everything, and in the main roster, the blame was on him and it was painted as him screwing it up. Here, it's turned around, and it shows Clay's potentially getting a career resurrection in NXT. So not only will NXT be the best possible feeder system for the main roster, but it's about to prove to be the reset button for bottom barrel main roster talent. This case is stronger when Clay then addressed Adrian Neville, wanting to take his title. He has nothing left to lose, everything taken away from him, so now he will start the taking. Interesting. Poor Woods though, I don't think anyone knows what to do with him, yet he has a lot of energy and charisma. He deserves better, but what can you do at this time?

4.) Adrian Neville interviewed by Devin Taylor, reacting to Clay's promo. Daunting task that he's up for, saying Clay shouldn't expect to waltz in from RAW and Smackdown (as a reject) and claim the NXT title. Fighting Champion won't take that. So a feud is set up, and this plays into debuting Neville in the main roster. After all, he'd be entering a land of giants, and what better way to show he can swim with the sharks than with one of the biggest sharks employed in WWE?

5.) WHUT DA HAYELL?! Oh Lord, Regal is hilarious. He said Breeze's boots are made from a Guatemalan Alpaca, crafted by a humpback dwarf from the Pinjarra tribe. The "j" is silent by the way, and I Googled for spelling. Dammit Regal. Tyler Breeze wrestles Yoshi Tatsu, who really has no hope for a career resurrection in NXT. Well a squash amtch from Breeze, and he didn't play to his gimmick a lot. Dare I say, serious? That's what commentary put over, that Breeze was vicious, a new attitude of being more serious. It showed because he wasted no time in squashing Tatstu. Then again, he could've took all the time in the world, because he would've still beat Tatsu like a pimp beating on his whore.

6.) Short interview with Sami Zayn, he's ready for Corey Graves, all healthy and cleared. Then one outside with Graves, where he told a story of an underdog getting caught in a bear trap, and the wolves ganged up on him. The Wolf's coming for Zayn, cool reference!

7.) I remember when Paige made it to WWE, there was a report that she wouldn't go into the main roster because of age. At the time she was 19 going on 20. I looked up her age, she's 21, and that was the age of legalized drinking in the States, supposedly the key age to debut her in the main roster. I never really believed that report, especially when JoJo wrestled on the main roster and she's 19. Kelly Kelly debuted in WWE at the age of 19, so you get the idea. However, it sort of would prove that old report right, because Paige heading to the main roster is going to happen this year. When exactly, I don't know. This came to mind as a video package for the woman played, and then an interview. She addressed Charlotte supposedly stealing the attention that the champ deserves after retaining her title at NXT Arrival. So drumming up an angle between Charlotte and Paige. This only happens because Charlotte's Flair's daughter. She's shown promise, but still green, so she should paint herself lucky. At the same time, who else would go after Paige, that hasn't debuted yet? Not Sasha, she's a giant loser.

8.) Corey Graves can rock skinny pants. Not the jeans Batista wearings, but you get the idea. It's more conducive to his look, while Dave just looks like a douchebag (apparently that's his goal). He wrestles Sami Zayn. The match was more on storytelling, as the angle here became Zayn's head. Selling post-concussion problems, aafter Graves knocked the head a bunch of times. Zayn, the fighting dog he is, downplayed his problem to the ref. This was where commentary really helped, particularly William Regal, noting the strategy of Graves and the problem Zayn was suffering. The knee was worked on a bit, conducive to Graves' Lucky 13 move, but also playing into the match. Zayn had some offense in, but didn't create a hot streak because he couldn't jump off the turnbuckle, his spaghetti legs and all. Graves took advantage with another shot to the head, hitting the ear. There should've been a better camera angle for that because I couldn't even see an ear shot, so it's speculation. Whatever the case, I figured the ref would throw out the match, which ehhh, makes sense, but would've been a bummer. Thankfully Graves used his submission move, and the ref was free to call the match, giving Graves the win. As it seems, this is done to elevate Graves. Zayn's proven big time with the NXT fans, and in quick fashion too. So he can take a couple losses and still come out as over as possible, in the meantime elevating someone. NXT's version of Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt, that just came to mind. Daniel Bryan the bonafide perennial crowd favorite, but keeps losing and has not (yet) gotten the big payoff deserved. That's where Zayn falls into, while Graves, like Wyatt, benefits from a legit way to get over. So a nice story ending for NXT, obviously these two will wrestle again.

I keep forgetting to mention this, but from Jim Ross' podcast with DDP, both guys put over Christian. Ross said "underrated," I was smiling throughout the praise. It came up since DDP wrestled him at Wrestlemania 18. DDP for the Hall of Fame next year, he deserves it. If there was a Hall of Fame for shilling, DDP would definitely be a headliner, first ballot, he plugged himself a lot in the interview.

Speaking of DDP, he agrees with Austin and makes not only shills Wrestlemania well, but he's convincing in thinking CM Punk will appear.

Now talk about Cesaro being a saving grace for the battle royal, if CM Punk came and win it, that'd be the best possible selling of this match as historic. It might sound weird on paper, but to hear the response and see it, it beats how weird it will be that Punk would carry that statue.

A Twitter user posted a bunch of photos from Axxess and Wrestlemania week. Some need no introduction. Something to note is Godfather, apparently he claims he will be at Wrestlemania 30. The WWE Championship displayed is the one Hulk Hogan won from Iron Sheik. Undertaker outfit from Wrestlemania 12, Lita outfits, outfit of Razor Ramon and an old HBShizzle one, HHH posing with his tombstones, even though Wrestlemania 17 is missing, Jake Roberts, Randall, Steve Austin, DDP.

HHH tweeted this picture, unveiling a statue for Bruno Sammartino that WWE made.

Another video to share, from TMZ, where Bryan talked about the MSU "Yes" incident. The one that I suppose did cause the WWE to change Bryan back to face after that cup of coffee thing with the Wyatts.

On the Chris Jericho podcast today, before Rey Rey was brought in, he and Egypt predicted Wrestlemania 30. Egypt's the guy who ruined Pummelmania 2, which was Big Time Wrestling Federation's Wrestlemania. The main event ended in a no contest, which is the worst possible ending for any Wrestlemania as a matter of fact. A list of their predictions.

Egypt predicted this - Hogan/Piper/Mr. T/Paul Orndorf face off. With the card being 7 matches, one has to expect segments to fill up the rest of the time. An in ring reunion of those 4 that main evented the first Wrestlemania, would be called for.

AJ Lee - Rosa Mendes. Notice Egypt wanting Latino people to win. Jericho had a great line when he said listing the 14 women in this match would take longer than the actual match itself! He could be right.

The Shield (Kane pinned by Reigns) - Shield breaks up, Suits win.

Bray Wyatt - John Cena: Egypt says Cena's a hero to the kids and all the janitors in San Francisce (how he pronounces it).

Undertaker - Brock Lesnar

Daniel Bryan clean - Daniel Bryan by DQ thanks to HHH. I hope it's clean, the DQ win was explained as HHH destroying Bryan and rendering him unfit to go to the main event. Yeah, sounds about right too, get that sledgehammer over...

Daniel Bryan - Batista. Egypt said Dave and D-Bryan could wrestle at the next PPV for the title. Yes, but Bryan will be the champion. WWE would love a swerve for Wrestlemania, but as long as it doesn't involve Bryan losing, then go ahead.

Dolph Ziggler - Rey Mysterio. This was for the battle royal. That match is so hard to predict, Jericho said Big Show's an easy one. The earlier post of Lance Storm talking about Miz winning, sounds very logical. Plus the guy's undefeated at Wrestlemania. So is Fandango. Oh and DDP (1-0). Not to mention Big Show has one of the worst Wrestlemania streaks (wasn't it 1-7?). I can't say Cesaro for the prediction game because I don't think he's even confirmed for it. He was before the Real Americans revitalized themselves.

The Rey Mysterio interview was nice by the way, it's only part 1. One of the commercials on the Pod of Thunder featured a plug for Roddy Piper's podcast on PodcastOne. It's a weekly thing on Mondays, and since I didn't hear about it until this podcast, I suspect it debuts the day after Wrestlemania. Speaking of the day after Wrestlemania, a snippet from an interview with the Boston Herald, D-Bryan hyping up the RAW after Wrestlemania.

“I’d like to go out on Monday Night Raw on the day after WrestleMania and start a new era with guys who can go out in the ring and perform,” said Bryan. “John Cena and Randy Orton are great performers, but so are Cesaro and The Shield. It’s time to give some new guys some new opportunities.”

With that coinciding with Hunter on TV saying this is the "Reality Era," Bryan could be right. Bray beating Cena, Randall losing the title, Cesaro and Roman Reigns could breakout big time post-Wrestlemania. The only guy to therefore persevere and represent WWE's old ways would be Batista, speculation.

I looked up Wrestlemania 30 on Wikipedia to see if there really is only 7 confirmed matches, excluding the pre-show. The order they gave the card is almost perfect for me, except Bryan and Hunter opening just sounds like a great prospect. In descending order...

The Ultimo Dragon character was purportedly the last trainee of Bruce Lee. Suspension of disbelief was definitely required here as Ultimo Dragon was six when Lee died. Inventor of the Asia Moonsault and one of the most graceful performers ever. The only black mark on his CV is he flopped on WWE in 2003-2004. Like Sin Cara, Asai's style did not find favor with management. A wrestler can't win them all.

9. The Dynamite Kid

There was no wrestler ever that put more into his matches than Tom 'Dynamite Kid' Billington. He was urged early in his career to not take so many risky bumps, but that wasn't Billington's modus operandi. He wanted to be the best and felt he had to give wrestling everything he had. By modern standards, Billington would not be considered a top high flier, but by the standards of the early 1980's, he was at the forefront of the movement - a trailblazer

the reigning iwgp junior heavyweight tag team champions have never been hotter. WWE was left unimpressed ( surprise motherfuckers. not) and passed on the duo after a tryout , which would prove to be a blessing in disguise. WWE would have stripped them of the qualities that leave the fans in awe. Much more than high spot artists. The Bucks can put it together in the ring. NJPW would not have left the belts on them if they were just all show

The NXT champion clocked up some mileage before he arrived in WWE. despite our pessimism about his compatibility in WWE, Neville has thrived, at least in the development league.his aerials have been toned down, which has disappointed fans of Pac. However, to those that never saw him in Japan or the Indies, the perfectly timed moves he does do are A1. As a flyer, there is none better in WWE. When he does reach the main stage, he will have plenty in reserve

I'd put Rey as number 1, but part of that is being accustomed most to him watching WWE, and peeking at his past before then. Neville has the benefit of WWE's limitations because that means his oasis of talent can be picked here and there that would give him a long career in WWE. Plus those same limitations, health wise, is probably best for the guy. Rey talked in the Jericho podcast (who Chris said is the best high flyer) that he watched back matches of his on the Network with his son. There, he told him of all the bumps he took that got his knees, that's why he's where he's at now. He wouldn't change it for the world, but he's a case of doing something at the highest level for so long and the price is paid. Shawn Michaels is another example in the 90s.

The Young Bucks did have a tryout, but apparently it failed because of Booker T. Yeah I read that when they did the tryout, Booker T felt disrespected because they didn't shake his hand. Naturally I'd defend Booker T because from his side, that does sound disrespectful. Then Velvet Sky went on Twitter to defend them, saying they were just shy. It's not surprising, shyness can be misconstrued as arrogance, something I hear a good deal in the wrestling business. To their credit, they played with that moment when they had a hand shaking gimmick in the indies. They would only shake each others hands, and not their opponents in Ring Of Honor. Now their gimmick is more on "Superkick Parties," where they overdo the Superkicks. It's great, but then it turns out dreadful when everyone else on the card does a fucking superkick. Some moreso than others (Adam Cole), and some that shouldn't even be doing it because of their look (Michael Bennett). When watching an ROH show with the Bucks and Cole on the card, the former always precedes him, so that when the latter wrestles and does superkicks up the ass, there's barely any reaction. For good reason. Pet peeves aside. They're also the current ROH tag team champions and the PWG tag team champions. With the fact that they improved upon showing their personality without the shackles from the TNA run, and after an ill-fated WWE tryout, I do agree it was a blessing in disguise they didn't come aboard. They'd just be a carbon copy of the Hardys.

WrestleMania XXX is set to take stage this Sunday in New Orleans, and arguably the biggest wrestling superstar of all time — Stone Cold Steve Austin — will be present.

Austin captured his first WWE heavyweight championship at WrestleMania XIV in Boston with a victory over Shawn Michaels.

“I only worried about taking care of business in the squared circle,” said Austin. “WrestleMania is the biggest stage you can be on as far as sports entertainment goes — though I still like to call it pro wrestling — but you want to knock it out of the park, grand slam style, for the fans.”

A lingering regret for Austin is that match with Michaels. Austin still refers to the bout as “mediocre.”

“Shawn was in a bad way,” said Austin. “He was in a bad place in his head, and along with his bad back came a bad attitude. I remember telling Vince McMahon right after, ‘That match was half-ass,’ but Vince told me, ‘We got that done and it’s over with. Now we’re going to take off and put the jets to the rocket.’”

Austin’s original WWE contract was 10 dates at $150 per night, but after years of grinding and evolving his character, his ascension to superstardom occurred at a rapid speed. He found an ideal opponent along the way in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and the two battled at WrestleMania three separate times.

“We just tore into each other,” remembered Austin. “Any time we stepped into the ring, good things were going to happen. That’s a testament to chemistry, mutual respect, and our desire to prove we’re the best. People were going to leave damn sure getting their money’s worth.”

Austin’s biggest regret occurred as the WWE prepared for WrestleMania XVIII. Rumors circulated Austin was scheduled to wrestle fellow legend Hulk Hogan, but the match never took place.

“I don’t know what the hell was in my head,” said Austin. “I didn’t really care to work with him. At the time, I just didn’t really think that much of Hogan. I was caught up living pretty fast and being Stone Cold and didn’t care for it to happen.”

As for burnout, Austin can relate to the struggles of self-exiled WWE superstar CM Punk.

“Punk’s fed up with not main-eventing WrestleMania,” said Austin.

In a perfect world, bereft of bad backs and old knees, Austin would be in that very ring with Punk at WrestleMania XXX.

“I could get more out of that guy than anybody else walking Planet Earth,” said Austin. “He could have that ultimate ‘Come to Jesus’ meeting with me. Punk’s been around for a long time and he’s a smart guy, but he never stepped into a damn squared circle with the intensity of a guy like Stone Cold Steve Austin.”

Austin is busy with a myriad of projects and takes a great deal of pride in delivering his podcast, “The Steve Austin Show,” on PodcastOne to an ever-growing audience.

“People always thought that I was always pissed off, drunk, and a very mean-spirited person,” said Austin, who encourages his fans to reach out to him on Twitter @steveaustinbsr. “On the podcast, I get a chance to actually show I’ve got a sense of humor.

“Bottom line, everybody out there’s got problems, so I just want to entertain the working man and the working woman.”

After over 100 podcasts and a year of doing it, and not being a fan while Austin was running wild in WWE, therefore not really experiencing what he was about, I think just him doing the podcast is the most entertaining Steve Austin I've experienced. "Heard" to be more specific.

I saw a couple of Young Bucks matches in TNA when they were Generation Me. The thing I remember most is Taz mixing up their names 9 or 10 times in the match. I thought he was doing it on purpose, but he probably wasn't. I couldn't get into the matches a lot because no matter how much I tried, my heart could never get into TNA. That Sting and RVD match and post match angle still gives me nightmares.

Stone Cold almost made me go and look for that Deer Hunter game.

I would have Rey Mysterio as my number one as well. I haven't seen enough of Jushin Liger or a lot of the others. I've seen some good stuff from them, but nothing compared to Rey Rey.

I had forgotten how useless the Smackdown before Wrestlemania would be. Maybe I'll remember next year. The statue of Bruno looked good at least.
