This should not be a 'project', merely something that a Mod would perform during the course of their clean up operations.

Like I said: it wouldn't be a project. Just a task Mods carry out when tiding up threads (which is something that they do regularly).

Yes, it does involve some additional work, but this would be counter balanced by avoiding rank and file members attempting to find the other threads: the work of one Mod would be beneficial to countless members.

But I think we are getting ahead of ourselves: first thing to do is institute this rule for new threads.

I believe it's being looked into, however, we've had no further information on progress towards either a diagnoses of the cause, or a solution.

That wouldn't make any difference unless that model already a thread in one or both of the other two sections.

Also, requiring such links wouldn't provide much utility, as it's easy for anyone interested to search for the other threads.

I completely agree with this.
That being said, I have often added the appropriate links in threads where post #1 is my own. (This does not necessarily mean that I am the original thread starter.) And I have tried to edit those threads to conform with current rules to the best of my abilities, because I think that makes the forum a tiny bit better.

So, my offer still stands: If you send me links I will gladly make the appropriate edits. My work load here is usually minuscule, and I think that your idea is at the very least admirable. I like being helpful.
