I use a variety of backgrounds, depending on the situation: sometimes something very formal like a Victorian office with mahogany furniture and an antique roll-top desk behind me, in other, less formal meetings I have used the bridge of the Starship Enterprise, the padded cell of an old lunatic asylum, etc.

Wow, has it really been this long since I accomplished something? I guess so.

Here's the deal, 11 hour work days five or six days a week since my last post in this thread.

Temperatures up to 109F.

So, got some time off work, hope to update this page frequently very soon.

For starters, I have an area of shrubs (yes, one is slightly taller than the one next to it) that the homeowners association board does not like.

HOA: But wild grass is growing up under the shrubs.

Me: Well, yes, I'm trying to get the shrubs established. Once they get big enough, their shade and water consumption will starve out the wild grass.

So, 64 square feet of sod and an hour and a half later,

Me: There, that work for you?

HOA: Much better.
