Did nt I once read that one CD could potentially store infinite amounts of stuff....

if they could figure out how to fill the disc and then move on through the massive spectrum of light and storing on the diff frequencies
one disc could store endless books ..... movies etc .

Security issues with the cloud are not being sorted out in 10 years, I wouldn't be surprised with it getting worse

Yep...exactly.
NAS are already a reality since years now. And I think the trend will get even bigger, as time goes by.
It's pretty convenient having everything into a small box that you can access anytime and everywhere, with no cables or other things around.
Like I said, I think many HDDs makers will definitely shift into that direction.

I thought the same when I got my very first 1 TB drive..... "Sure, there will always be some space left". But then I started downloading 4-5GB files, not realizing that the drive would had got filled up pretty fast
Right now i'm on a hiatus as far as collecting Porn goes. Have to do some cleanup and remove any stuff that I barely watch, so that I have some space for music and 4K movies. Not a problem with them, as those always get burned straight onto a BD disc to watch on my TV.
But, yeah. Collecting megapacks and single HD scenes definitely eat a lot of space.
