I've tried to read every post in this thread, and I am the only person who thinks the industry is doing just fine when there's only the rarest of outbreaks? After all, where's the Hep B thread? Is nobody here concerned about HPV?

In the US, each year, over 200 EMS workers die each year from diseases like AIDS, Hep B/C, TB, etc. 2-0-0. The entire EMS (fire, paramedics, etc) industry is dedicated to the health and well being of EVERYBODY - including themselves, and all precautions are taken to the nth degree and there are still people that are going to contract these diseases. Think about it - 100's of thousands, if not millions of porn scenes are shot each year, and we're talking about 2-3 people, and I can't recall the last outbreak, but it's been a few years, right?

As you will see in my post you have quoted I want to see them testing for everything-the fact Gonz has possibly been walking round with Hepatitis & having unprotected sex exposes the problems with the testing, the women who have worked with him are none that impressed either.

The last HIV scare you mean? Yes that was a few years ago-as said it is thankfully rare, but the other STD'S are not-the majority can be stopped by condom use. Yes paramedics can get it-again it is rare, but it only takes a glove to break & the person to have an open wound to contract it, or coming into contact with a dirty needle, but this is a straw man argument.

I am talking about the industry accepting it-if they are serious about the health of the performers & tired of having to shut down for weeks, or possibly months if like now cases keep appearing & losing money-both producers & performers then they can adopt it-it doesn't even need to have anything to do with the government.
