Usos will get the win tonight....I think. edit: of course they won. Daniel Bryan playing it safe. Still recovering from concussion I suppose. More important question is: Will Kofi win again tonight?

Randy Orton - WWE & GTA Champion. I think he got in the passenger's side. RAW ending was just meh. I was expecting something exciting but it never happened. Randy Orton will retain at the Rumble and Batista will probably win the Rumble match.

Batista vs Del Rio is interesting though. You two guys who are or were extremely overpushed by the WWE machine. ADR is basically the John Cena of the Latino demographic during WWE press conferences. I think the whole PG thing is overblown. Promos aren't as edgy but let's be real, there's only a handful of people who can cut good entertaining promos in the past 2-3 years. That's R-Truth(2011), CM Punk(2011-2013), 2011 Rock and Cena(tweener), Zeb Colter, Damien Sandow, and that's about it. WWE PG was really bad between 2008-10 because they still had a lot of brawlers as their main event guys. Blood and chairshots are important for brawlers to make their matches look good. They didn't have that during the first two years of PG era. Since 2011 to now, most of the top stars aren't brawlers and big muscles guys, it's the smaller guys who are putting on good matches without the chairs, tables and blood. PG has been terrible for promos but I think it has also brought out some of the best wrestling we've seen in the WWE in a long time. Being anti-PG is more of a 2010-11 thing because of how good the wrestling has been the past 2 years that fans aren't talking too much about it. It's easy to see the support Punk and Bryan are getting from the fans but guys like Cesaro, Dolph, Cody Rhodes, have had some good appreciation from fans also. It really is the era of the little(and medium) guys.

I wasn't blown away by the Batista appearance tonight. I don't know, it just felt flat or something. I'm sure he will make his impact in the Royal Rumble.

I don't think about the pg rating unless it is brought up.. When I see a bad show I don't say to myself, damn if this was rated 18 it would be so much better. I say to myself what crappy writing this is. Ratings don't mean anything. good writing will always prevail over a rating. |
