Another figure arrived in the male today.

WWE Ultimate Edition Hulk Hogan Fan Takeover edition(Wrestlemania 9)

Though honestly, this is pretty clearly, to me at least, WCW Hogan. The body used is much slimmer like he was in WCW and he has the wristbands, which while he did wear in WWF towards the end of his first run, they were THE things he used in his WCW run up until the nWo began.

I wasn't expecting to pick anything up aside from maybe some Mello Yello in my mad quest to find it once more. Alas, Target didn't have it but it DID have a WWE Legends figure of Hogan from his WCW days, which I snapped right up.

Preordering games needs to stop. They won't run out of digital copies and it just lets companies release half-finished games.

Pre-ordering unfinished games is a problem that needs to stop. See No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk 2077.

However; for me that's not a top problem that needs to be solved. No, the number one problem for me that needs to stop is microtransactions, DLCs, season/battle passes.

Followed by online-only, digital only and an emphasis on multiplayer gaming.

Next is the focus on games being Souls-like, rogue-like/lite which from my perspective is hiding a game's lack of content behind extreme difficulty similarly to the 'third level' Arcade games of the past.

Returning to my pre-order of Dead Island 2's Hell-A-Edition. The game was announced nearly ten years ago in 2014 and I've been looking forward to it since it's announcement having enjoyed Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. This will be my first and likely only Collector's Edition game that I'll own. Unlike a lot of Collector's Edition game releases it's very reasonably priced and only a bit more expensive than the most expensive digital bundle.


Now to return to the subject of this thread a parent and my cat's birthdays are coming up which means I'll be purchasing gifts for them.
