They do it because they feel offended that you think they aren't going fast enough or they are concerned that you may be one of those people who slow down to a crawl once they have passed you.

^^^^^^ Actually Disney owns 80 percent and Hearst Communications owns 20 percent. I'm thinking your quarrel is more with Disney than ESPN??? I also think it has something to do with Disney's recent "cancel culture".

No. Absolutely nothing to do with Disney. I just mentioned Disney because they've become a lot more transparent in the channel's promotion. Because of the recent unveiling of the streaming The Disney Bundle. The Hearst Corp connection is understandable given terrible standards and practices, mass firing of key talent, and sensationalist/alarmist editorializing ESPN engages in.

It's the Daily Mail of US sports broadcasting. Absolute trash.
