Battle Of The Blades. Hockey players and figure skaters pair up and compete each week for bragging rights. The thing is, if you've ever been on hockey skates and then switched to figutlre skates you will have goldtone few face plants lol.

To boot it goes from city to city throughout parts of Canada... and it's live so no second chances.

My girl Natalie Spooner of the Womens National team is competing. She is a multi Olympic gold medalist in hockey.

Here are Natalie and Andrew Poje from last week skating to You make It Easy by Jason Aldean. Remember she is a hockey player and only had 7 days to learn that.

Do they need to be current shows or old shows that are now on home video? I'm watching tv shows that were on when I was a kid and only saw a episode here and a episode there: Seinfeld, Friends, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I got the dvd boxes and are watching them in order. Seinfeld: what is wrong with those 4? So selfish!! Buffy: she is cute and all but I think Cordelia is the prettiest girl on the show. Too bad they kicked her off it after 3 years. Friends: don't thy ever work? They spent all day in the coffee shop!! Ross is annoying and totally has anger issues! Phoebe is dumb. So is Joey. They should be the ones in the dumb and dumber movie. I also wonder how those 2 pay their rent and buy food - they are both chronically unemployed. Monica is a control freak, has OCD and needs Aderall. Rachel is stuck up, spoiled and maybe even bi-polar: I wouldn't date her much less want to sleep with her plus she has no ass. Chandler seem to be the only one with half a brain.

Wow! I swear this to be true: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the movie) is next on my list to watch today. Just picked up the blu ray at Best Buy cheap so what the hell, never seen it.

And Friends.... I watched one of the first episodes during the original airing, just one, when I was visiting a friend. I never watched another episode during its entire run until about 2 weeks till the finale in 2004. It was such a big deal that the show was ending and I decided to binge a bunch of episodes so I could enjoy the finale. I then went back and watched the entire series. I haven't watched an episode of Friends in over 10 years and don't really care to. Fun once, that's it.

I did really like the very final scene as they are leaving the apartment though..


I just watched Stranger Things, had no idea what I was in for, not a clue. Picked up the first and second season blu ray's at Target for $5 each! They might as well have been free!

Really enjoyed the first 2 seasons though it does get a bit repetitive and am not likely to watch season 3 when it comes out next year; oh well. Still highly recommend it.

They had an episode of a tornado warning and they used an emergency broadcast sound effect. It sounded so close to the real thing that the FCC wants to fine them almost 300,000 dollars for unauthorized use of an emergency signal....

No Emergence this week. Back next week.
