Changing browsers does not always work because the browsers have almost the same configuration to use on different sites. Each one has to behave the same way to get the captcha to not work.
I have complained the free time is never the same as "real time." My downloads take days instead of minutes, and the DL always corrupts just seconds before completion. I still have to wait to DL because their broken servers say I already DL'ed a file.

I use an app (idownloader pro) to download files on my iPod touch. It works with DF,KS,LS. But I've just got a premium rapidgator account but files won't download from there. How can I get it to work, will it work

To be fair, Larry isn't the owner of PS.

When Simon sold this place, one of the first things that happened was that the list of allowed hosts was greatly expanded. This makes me think that whoever the new owner is, he or she decides which hosts are allowed and which are banned...

Edit, Let me state though I'm all for the owner doing everything possible to increase his or her revenue streams. Makes for a stronger site and increases likelihood that the site will stay healthy and last.

I don't agree: as far as I am concerned the Owner has made some bad decisions.

Strangely enough, Rapidgator has been working okay for me with files 300 MB and under. I've usually always had no short of trouble with them, yet it's currently working better than even Depositfiles. I really have no idea what is happening with all these hosts lately. It seems Zippyshare is the only one truly reliable now.

Extremely slow for a long time, I have to keep cancelling and then restarting the download in order to get a decent speed, which doesn't always work.

For me when i use it for free, it's hit or miss. After the countdown is over before the captcha appears it just refreshes and you start over again and does the same thing.
