NEW YORK — One of the few copies of the comic book that introduced Superman to the world has sold for a super-sized, record-setting price.
The issue of Action Comics No. 1 went for $3.25 million in a private sale, ComicConnect.com, an online auction and consignment company, announced Tuesday.

It narrowly bested the previous record for the comic, set at the auction of another copy in 2014 for slightly more than $3.2 million.

The comic book, published in 1938, “really is the beginning of the superhero genre,” said ComicConnect.com Chief Operating Officer Vincent Zurzolo, who brokered the sale.

I used to buy a few comic books when I was much much younger.
Back in the day we never thought of actually saving the little
magazines in some Glass-cases or in zip-lock bags, in the hopes of
one day selling them for the price of a new Lamborghini.
Someone should have told me back then to save the magazines!
Being a crazy artist from a young age, I used to draw "extra things"
and extra dialogue all over my comic magazines

WWE Ultimates Razor Ramon(both the basic and purple chase versions)
Masters of the Universe: Masterverse Galactic Protecter He-Man(New Adventures He-Man)

Razor was always a favorite so I wasn't going to say no to this, especially since I have a ladder perfectly in scale to pose him with as well as two Intercontinental titles for that infamous victory pose from WrestleMania 10.

As for the He-Man, I've always had a soft spot for the New Adventures line. Vastly underrated character designs and in the case of He-Man and Skeletor, redesigns.

Keep them in the box (don't even think of opening them), store in a dry place away from sunlight or temperature extremes, inside large ziplock bags containing a few dehumidifier sachets and any sale paperwork (receipts etc) relating to these items.

A truly wonderful package. A huge plus is how the figures are packaged in that you can just slide them out for display. No tearing of the cardboard AT ALL.

Great figures, though I hope the next time Mattel does a Rick Rude figure it's from his WCW tenure so I can have myself a Dangerous Alliance display.
