OK - browsing PS is slow, slow, slow for me.

Reading some of the entries above I tried to log out to see if I'd get better speed when not logged in. When I opened up PS again I was still logged in. I've tried a couple of times now but PS won't let me log out.

We're still a long way from fixed.

Sometimes when you open a thread with people using the hide tag, you don't see their posts instead something like hide_stateactive

Yes, like I said above and others have just said browsing on PS is slow.

I wonder if it is due to the software or not enough servers and bandwidth on the busy times.

Since the recent fixes threads I visit no longer mark themselves as read once I visit them. I go through subscribed threads and no amount of refreshing the thread list ever shows the thread marked as having no new posts.

Some boards have an option for "mark thread read up to here" but I don't see one here.

Am I the only one seeing this?

Chrome Beta/Incognito mode/logged in. ABP enabled/disabled makes no difference.

Edit: Should add that deleting/readding subscriptions doesn't change the read indicator so it's not in the subscription system, it's in the read state system.

Edit 2: I found that you can mark entire forums read and that had no effect either. However coming back a few hours later showed things now marked as read properly. I suppose this is an issue with it not updating the database immediately but in batches.

Toward the top of the page, between the Search feature and the Log Out button, you will see a Quick Links menu. In the drop down you will have an option to "Mark Forums Read".

It will mark ALL forums and threads as read.
