Batman and Alien are all great classics to me. Could you post in the ''last movie watched'' thread if Batman and Harley Quinn are worth watching? I was tempted to get it too.

Sure, once I get to it. BTW the Alien Quadrilogy contains both the theatrical and extended versions of all four films!

I was not aware of extended versions of Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection and have never seen the extended bits of the original.

I'm not sure if my Alien 3 or Resurrection are extended so that may be worth looking into. Great collection to have though as there's horror in the first for your horror fix. Then action and scifi with horror elements for your other interests. Really a watch anytime series.

It is threads like this that make a person think at times about giving back or paying it forward. We were in a horrific crash in late July less than a block from our home when a drunk run a light. My fiancee was killed and they needed a few months to put me back together but they will never be able to mend my heart. This Christmas is going to be a tough one.

I couldn't continue to live in our condo after I got home to an empty house and I sought out 5 couples just starting out in life that needed a lucky break, for a short list. I found the most wonderful and adorable recently wed couple and after vetting them thoroughly I handed them the keys and deed to my condo late last month once my new place was finished here where I will make a fresh start and keep my sweety in my heart. She swore she would come back and haunt me if I didn't move on and she would watch over me.

She sang on an album I produced years ago when I wasn't happy with the singer of the band I produced. The majority of the proceeds that came her way went straight to women's emergency shelters at the time. We weren't together at the time (long sappy story).

I have my dad to thank for my giving ways, he gave me 25 cents a week for allowance when he did at all and even with 3 part time jobs after school he always said I wouldn't amount to anything. That was the last thing I heard him say as I walked out the door at 17 and never looked back.

I give til it hurts all year and have learned that tears of joy are priceless ... the words I live to hear from others is "I wish I could afford that", the last guy that said that ended up with with a 27 foot cabincruiser in his driveway. My GoFast was destroyed after I hit a log off the coast of Texas and had to scuttle her as she sank in pieces and I am not a fan of open water anymore and he loves boats. Perfect fit if you ask me !!!

So sorry to hear about your loss NoTrouble I lost my grand mother and uncle just four months apart in 2010.

Just being with family and friends will help a lot but helping others at this time is a testament to your own spirit and I hope that it accelerates your healing process and moves others to do the same.
