Having 20/20 vision all of your life the waking up one morning to find things close up are now blurry.
 Having a surprising auditory gift despite years of loud concerts then getting a severe sinus infection which causes your ears to close up for 30 days then when they open up you now have a constant ringing in your ears from now on. |

I used to have 20/20 vision as well, up till two years ago. But smoking 2 packs a day for nearly 16 years, and working with those super bright LED PC monitors, certainly played a big role. Sometimes I get super dizzy if I strain my left eye (particularly) for so long. Have to take breaks in between. No problem with my ears, though. It's only on Winter that I get sinus infections. Otherwise, i'm generally fine, on that regard.

When it has been so many years and you start forgetting how the people you have loved and lost looked like. You can remember how you felt about them, but not how they looked like. (It is even more heart breaking when you have no pictures of them.)
