Does MJF need anymore heat with a win? Maybe Arn will turn on Cody at the PPV, or maybe MJF will start fucking Brandi since she's desperate to be a heel. Double or Nothing seems like a good place to end it but holy heck not sure how they are gonna keep that interesting.
I don't know if Sandman ever even trained, think he was learning on the job lol. I wonder if they'll stop Moxley going to Japan if he gets injured at one of those shows? The match with Suzuki was brutal. Ryu Lee and Takahashi got brutal with a chop fest extravaganza. And then Naito got some serious color and it was quite grotesque. Got some cringe cos I wasn't anticipating it and he got a lot. Watching the guy act relaxed, going about his business, while looking like that was a weird visual. |

Pre-Revolution thoughts:
Cody wins tonight, maybe should end the feud, we'll see. I got Moxley taking the title, it feels like the right time for Jericho to drop it compared to it would have been a bit of a rush if Cody had won at Full Gear. Likewise I think the Bucks are leaving with gold tonight. I'm pretty sure somebody is turning heel out of this match, but I think a case is there for Page, Kenny and/or the Bucks so I guess I'd be right and surprised if it happens. I like Kris Statlander, but it feels like the wrong time for Nyla to lose the belt. I have her holding it to Double or Nothing(or beyond), partly to not have a cheap title reign but also to kind of reward her since she has been there all the time doing the work. Obviously Hager is winning his debut, I guessing it won't be a squash because there's the Dustin revenge angle. On the other hand, I think Darby will be successful in getting revenge on Sammy G. He can take the L since they haven't really started building him as a upper-top dude yet. Speaking of upper-top dudes; I'm almost certain PAC is winning over Orange Cassidy, but I'm not sure how. It's either going to be a like 4 minute murder or a showcase of what Cassidy can actually do. And I think I'd be entertained by either so...win/win? SCU v Dark Order will be a solid match, I guess depending on who the 'Exalted One' actually is we may get a reveal tonight. I'm thinking that we only get Daniels being 'kidnapped' post-match to progress the story. Then a week or 2 of vignettes where he's being questioned/tortured leading to a payoff. |

Post Revolution thoughts:
They shot a match for AEW Dark, a women's tag Yuka Sakazaki and Riho(loud cheers) against Penelope Ford and Brit Baker(even louder boos). SCU/Dark Order went about as I expected in terms of the match. Post-match beatdown from the Order made sense, the run-in from Chicago's own Colt Cabana was unexpected(he has since been announced as a new talent signing) followed by a dark figure being Daniels doing the fake-out again. The Exalted One is coming, no doubt, but he's not here yet. Dustin/Hager went longer than I would have thought, and that new submission finisher is pretty bleh. At least from my view in the upper bowl, maybe it looked better on TV. Darby and Sammy G are insane. While I can appreciate that they want to take risks to put on a good show, I appreciate even more if they could be in a position to do so 10-15 years from now. The tag title match was just fucking amazing, clearly the match of the night. They didn't turn anyone but seeds are definitely there. I was very surprised at how over Page was. I said beforehand that there was a case for turning anyone from this match, I no longer think that about Page. I still think he's a brawler who wants to fly too much, but I think I now get why he was put in that title match with Jericho back at All Out. Nyla/Statlander was a match that happened. I can't say it was bad, but it certainly didn't get any favors by having to follow the tag match. Cody/MJF...clearly the feud is not over and they certainly did a great job of showing why. I feel like there was almost a Undertaker streak ending level of shock from this match, although it was snapped quickly by yet another thunderous round of boos directed towards young Maxwell. Also, Wardlow is the worst at cheating. I told the guy next to me(who was an MJF fan) he should have just rolled MJF in during the countout spot since he already proved how inept he was at cheating. So we now know that Orange Cassidy can do wrestling moves with his hands in and out of his pockets and they can be quite good. I look forward to seeing them again in like 5 months or whenever he chooses to care again. Jericho/Moxley was great, they did a good job with working down the list of all the usual crap one could expect to occur with an Inner Circle match. I like that they did the eyepatch reveal spot. Partly because if he had won with one eye, how could we expect him to ever lose the title when he had both but also because it show's Mox is crazy enough to go most of the fight with one eye on purpose. Overall, I think this was the best AEW PPV so far. Really only the women's title match was meh and everything else did a great job of working in the story that led into the matches that happened. |

Can anyone explain why Jurassic Express were seated ringside for a bit and did nothing at all... I think they did a promo earlier in the show that they were gonna look out for Cody or something so idk what happened. Edit. How could I forget to mention that tattoo Cody got. I thought it was temporary but it's legit. What a bad ass, no fecks given now cause he got his wifey. That entrance as well, record sales for that band will easily skyrocket. How does the song go again? Oh well, I can't remember. Edit 2. More I remembered I wanted to blab about. Is it too obvious Matt Hardy will be leader of dark order. They did say obsolete in their promo. Probably not a very popular choice but I was quietly hoping for Bischoff just because he can be an entertaining on screen character when he feels like it and for me he just looks the part with that grin and hair. It could be a worked argument that Khan and him had just to throw people off. |

The worst Dynamite yet? I was so bored watching it, felt like a holding pattern and then the mystery partner was a fat letdown. The end was more or less de-ja-vu and why didn't they put Hangman through the table or whatever because they were all back up after Matt Jackson went superman on them.

As if AEW didn't do enough with how good Revolution was compared to either the Saudi show or EC, then they have to come out and make an empty arena show look good too. Yeah, there was some pre-taped stuff to fill time but no more than typical and nothing compared to what SD/Raw did with just re-airing PPV content.
And with the expected, inevitable, debuts they pull a fast one by having Brodie Lee(Harper) be the Exalted One and have Matt be a new 5th guy for the Elite. My first reaction was 'wait, Harper can talk too?', maybe a letdown for the Dark Order but they get a leader who can wrestle(my main issue with Buzz's idea of it being Bischoff) so they can have trios with SCU, Best Friends, the Elite, whoever and there's no worry about using up Matt too fast. I suspect Matt Hardy will be like Jericho in that he's around every week but not wrestling as much. Also that his 'All Delete Wrestling' shirt is going to be a hot seller fast. |

I don't know about this, folks got excited for wanting Matt as the leader. Perhaps it'd have been too comedic... My first thought is it might feel too much like a Wyatt Family rip off with Brodie at the helm. Matt as a member of Elite really doesn't do anything for me but it's a refresh I suppose. I'm just expressin' off the cuff as I haven't seen the show yet but I saw the spoilers.
They could still use Bischoff, he just fits for that group in my view, but I guess they probably do have beef. |

So for some reason I thought Matt was now part of the Elite, I guess he's temporary replacement for Nick. I'm glad.
The show was really amazing considering the only crowd were wrestlers/managers. Never got bored and even the commentary team was awesome. As for NoXffortTrips, I'd rather have drank bin juice mixed with pond slime. Some lame attempt at a rivalry documentary just wasn't doing it for me. That budgie smuggling bint Triple H trying to convince us Mania will be spectacular, like nothing we've seen before, well no shit Sherlock, but spectacular... All ya empty shows have been shite but I guess this one will have fireworks. Trip was probably glued to Dynamite or had some stooge watch it for him and tell him all the ideas they had. Knowing his selfish ways he's probably trying to get his roster on Mania cos who the fuck knows if Takeover is even happening, I saw no indication of it at all, just like there is no indication of a refund... Easily way more excited for the next Dynamite than anything the empire are gonna do. |

This was a cunt to find, YT search engine just wanted to do it's own thing. Bf and Gf Ospreay and Priestly had a match and it was good apparently, I'll watch it later. Match starts at 1:50:00-ish.
