CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Performer Availability Screening Services (PASS) issued the following statement today to its participants regarding a third and possible fourth alleged HIV infection within the adult entertainment industry.

Dear PASS Participants,

As promised, we are sending out updates as soon as information is available.

First, I would like to address the rumors of a fourth performer testing positive for HIV. None of the testing facilities, nor the doctors associated with the facilities, have any results of a fourth performer testing positive. This information came from AHF who is currently trying to push regulation on the industry and has, on many occasions, reported false information to the media to advance their political agenda. Just last month AHF started a media frenzy and industry scare over false information of a positive syphilis result claiming an “outbreak” when in reality no performers were positive for syphilis. It is extremely likely that this situation is more posturing for AHF’s political agenda. Again, we have no evidence of a fourth performer testing positive for HIV.

As far as the partner identification for the third performer is concerned, all first generation partners have been identified and have retested. Results for all of the performers but one are back and all results are negative. The final result will be back tomorrow. The doctors associated with our testing facilities will teleconference tomorrow to discuss the results and next steps concerning performer testing and the moratorium.

Finally, to address some additional rumors, the doctors have confirmed that the third performer did not work with Ms. Bay or Mr. Daily.

That's why I wonder if it's a push by California politicians to get that bill enforced? From the looks of it, it's failing. The media jumped the gun reporting this, it seems...like they always jump the gun.

I would say it is obvious that something has to change-porn is giving politicians all the ammo they need & the fault of what is happening lies with the performers & the testing agencies-performers for acting like idiots in their private lives & making idiotic comments pretending everything is fine-when it fact people are contracting STD'S & in a few cases the one that could kill them & ends their career automatically & the testing powers for their endless shilling & incompetence.

Yet these same ones that defend porn endlessly & say comdoms would kill the business are the same ones on their social media accounts bitching because porn is on lockdown & they are losing money as a result-can't have it both ways.

Nothing is going to make porn 100% safe-but here are some things they could do.

1. Make condoms mandatory. People still buy & watch condom porn from Dorcel, Wicked, Vivid etc. The tired porn would die argument doesn't wash.
2. Weekly or twice weekly testing. Testing to be for every STD known.
3. No crossovers-if you want to do guys then you stick to gay porn, as soon as you do a B/G scene you are no longer allowed to shoot for gay companies & the same with straight performers-as soon as you do a gay scene mo more straight porn..
4. You can only use industry recognised clinics-no more of this using wherever you like.
5. All results go to a main database-not to a personal doctor & that database is to be available & checked by all porn companies, as soon as it flags up that performer is barred from working until such time as he/she is shown to be clear & all performers who worked with him/her since his last clean test the same.
6. Anybody caught trying to fake results ala Mr Marcus is banned for life, also anybody going back to do gay work or vice versa also gets banned if caught & anybody caught advertising/doing bareback escorting the same.
7. Testing for gay porn & shemale porn to be mandatory.

Simply porn has let itself down & it is causing endless health risks/scares that are shutting the industry down & costing everybody money, this has been happening sporadically over the last decade or so. If the performers really care about the business they are in & their co-workers then they will sign up to this & any other reasonable measures that may be needed, rather than crying the blues, making parodies against government measure etc-nobody wants to see dental dams etc, but rubber johnnies-what is the big deal about wearing one? How can porn defend itself when Cameron Bay has unprotected sex with a gay star, when Rachel Starr rolls up to a rock concert & blows off some random singer-if she is doing that in public then what is she doing in private? What good is performer testing when people do things like this?

I sometimes think the mainstream porn companies act too liberally with their hired performers. They don't dare ask questions. In fact, if you believe some porn actors, they "get forced" into some stuff "that they didn't know what's going to happen" (you should read some ex-porn stars' accounts of their experiences). They honestly don't get that their personal lives interfere with their line of business and then get mad when stuff shuts down. Maybe these porn stars need to learn how to separate their lives from their porn careers or just don't do porn at all and carry on with their recklessness.

What is needed, is for a new 'instant test' to be created. Something that can be carried out on set before the scene begins. Ideally as simple and easy as one of those over-the-counter pregnancy tests.

shit i got info 2 days ago that shyla is going to shoot after that hiv stuff end and all back to normal but who knows when it back to normal even if they back to shooting in few weeks it will takes months before scare gone

Usually the ones involved are told, so people they have been on-set with.

I guess it is frustrating when you've travelled so far and find no shoot, but Gauge should have called ahead.
